Finally got these approved for public viewing today It's some level art that I did for Watchdogs. Keep in mind that all lighting and modeling / texturing was done by Ubisoft.

I'm working on this big rocky spire right now, when I get it in scene it will be like a few hundred feet tall, for now you just have to use your imagination
I love this place, with all the beautiful artwork it's like my Happy Gilmore Happy place
I don't want to be a one trick pony, but I'm working on some more mud for a friends project. This mud is on a much larger scale. It's a 4096 map and what you're seeing is only a portion of the texture.
Good luck with the game, looks awesome, i hope u guys will do a pc port, i would love to play it on steam, One man art thats huge!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Ultra, thank you for your kind comments . If we get a decent sales on iOS/Android, we will try to port the game to other platforms, and the first one will be PC/Steam, of course!
Finally my Viking Character is done. What do you think?
you could improve the lighting
from far away I almost believed that it was a diffuse-only flat shaded model
I mean the character is really great so it's the only thing that's missing imo

Looks beautiful, but what's up with the scale? If the player model is going to be that size in-game it's waaaay off with the detail.. Mud doesn't behave like that if the scale is correct.. You should have pools of flatter mud that's thinker and more dense where grass roots and what not binds it together..
This is a head I'm working on based on a DIY scan using approx 30 photos from 1 camera while the model sat very still! The real-time head in toolbag is ~10k tris. Will add hair using gmh2 when I have pushed the skin shading a bit further. Must find the time to finish it!
@Mr Significant - Thanks for the compliments! I posted some of my work in progress shots on my facebook page with some quick ways on how I used the assets, since I didn't specifically start a thread for this mud yet. I am thinking I might make it into a scene though. So thread soon to come? https://www.facebook.com/purepolygons/posts/281777948700107
@sltrOlsson - Thanks for the comment, I'll try to vary it up a bit to get some flatter parts in there. I think once I add the other details like branches, twigs, and rocks it will help with the scale a bit as well.
Stirls: love the clothwork, but i prefer the previous version you posted. The boots looks too blocky for the character, I think. Either way am digging it !
Mafubash : hmm i love you hand painted style, great job mate
the problem i have with the cloth is, what kind of material is it supposed to be? it looks all like its a very light material. its kinda cool kinda clothy but what is it? some windbreaker material? its all soooo noisy

just a lil fun one
Which one is more appealing? I need some outside opinions on this.
Oh, it's also based on this concept art.

Now I see that teeth are not anatomically correct. Feel free to criticize anatomy, materials or render.

@Stirls - sick work on the cloth!

Here's a game character portrait, painted in Photoshop:
And the alternate version, with background:
There is an animated icon that this character is part of, I'll show that soon. Critiques welcome!

This is cool. I like the size of the boots in the concept. They really help to ground the design.
