Thank you, Martin. I udpated my anatomy thread with one last really-final image, a couple of things changed. Also I put in a couple of small picks of what she actually looks like to show if it resembles her at all.
Don't know why I wasted much time with mental ray rendering, while 3dsMax 2014 comes along with a very beautiful viewport shading, so as I said is softened my edges and create another shot of my sight.
A friend is working on 3D printing this weapon, and asked me to make a model for them. Few problems with it topology wise, but nothing I can't fix in a few minutes!
Alice from Monster Girl Quest ! She deserved a good 3D model !
I got all renders from Cryengine real-time. I used Lightbox of Geo from Crydev ( Credits to him )
So, she has Physics Based ( Real-time) hair, Screen Space SSS, I modeled her in Max+ Zbrush and used CAT in max to animate her.
That is my first "serious" character so to speak. You can find both screenshots and a video of turntables and animations I made ( By no means I am a " rigger" by the way)
Face animatiooons !
These are the references I used
Here is the video
SO until then I am jumping to Noob Character Challange. Thanks everybody !
Custom concept Im working on turning into a game resource. Nothing fancy, but though it would make a good practice piece.
Second ever mesh, first time meddling with Sub-D so there's a few issues that I do know about, mostly tight edges and a few folding problems. C&C welcome! Also, I know the rounds are the wrong colours. I was just in a rush and didnt have time to make a custom material. :P
Wow awesome things going on here! It's been a really long time I didn't post anything. Recently, I'm into portraiture. I try to practice painting techniques and observation. This is a portrait of Yolandi Visser, singer of the band Die Antwoord.
Great portrait, I honestly thought it was her photo for a moment. While Yolandi and Die Antwoord really freak me out a bit, I have to admit I like *some* of their music, and she makes a pretty good subject as seen here. Good stuff man.
Made in Modo with usual texturing process in PS. With subtle dirt pass in dDo + nDo2.
This is fucking awesome dude  I have ruined many decks over my lifetime and I can tell you this looks spot on.
personally, I would have done a cut in the grip tape. I always did a stripe towards the back so you could always beat up the same side of the board and have the same action every pop. This gives you a chance to add a little visual interest to the top of the board. Some decks even have designs and stuff on the top side specifically for that.
hey there, I'm trying to sculpt a bust it's my first time at trying to do human anatomy, so be kind with me.
I'm trying to model amelia earharth but I find my sculpt really bad can you give me some advice or things that I've screwed ^^

Its looking really nice! After skating a fair few years as well, it would be nice to see some flat spots on those wheels/ revert skid marks going across them, and maybe some Crooked-grind marks on the trucks (actually a trick and not spazy descriptive language ). But there only minor things. Good job man!

I've put up my very first item on to the dota store. Super weird fun experience! Haven't had to optimize this like in awhile!
Would love your thoughts!

Nice texture, but check your references. The skateboard looks funky.
This is awesome, thank you very much !

Very nice! The style and the fact that there's a mech in the mix tickles my fancy indeed.
