took me a couple of hours, but finished blocking out a little animation with Annie and Tibbers from League of Legends..
a bit of role reversal kinda animation I hope..
Early stages of a port piece I started this weekend, trying to get things as modular as possible with the building, got to make a new walls mesh but I like my tileable texture, rather happy with my grass so thats good.
think I just have the trees and walls to go then its all refinement.
I saw this but didn't look at your username. "Wow, that looks a lot like Fightpunch's work!", I thought to myself. Nice job, man. Big fan of the stuff on your devart page. Very inspirational.
Looking great swizzle. Also fightpunch those are awesome.

Again still just shader/render testing while I do actual work. Hair is the worst, but first try I know what I need to do there for now (layers, shader, lighting, modeling).
Hey guys! First time posting my work here. I'm still learning a lot about 3D but you all give me some incredible inspiration.
I decided to make some Banjo Kazooie fan-art because I feel that series doesn't get as much love as it deserves.
I don't know how functional all those fur patches will be if I ever want to animate him but for right now his job is to stand there and wait for me to make Kazooie
Sweet!
You're right, the series does't get as much love as it deserves!
On the matter of 'what is a good polycount for a character in games' - how long is a piece of string?
Performance-wise, generally the lower the better. But you need enough to make the thing look good too.
You might want to check out some of the game-ready characters on a site like TurboSquid to see what ranges they fall in and set yourself a limit on the amount of tris you're going to use.
Here's my redesign of this side generator pump piece I showed awhile back. It's part of a larger piece, so most of the lower left section will not be visible. This is mostly from Modo with some boolean and welding scuzz in Zbrush.
I've just noticed there are a few thing missing. I'll fix that later and re-post.
Small updates for today - i think iam almost done with the HP -
I will do the small details in NDO - time for fixing, and Retopo..
Crits are always welcome
I decided to revisit one of my fav sculpture, Perseus and the Gorgon, with a twist. Now it'll be Senior Perseus vs Granny Gorgon. I will do the gorg at a later time though.
Cheers
Scythe and Erik Rading : Those models looks awesome!!
I'm actually working on this new character in Zbrush.
She'll be the main Character of a School Group project : "LEAK" wich is a sidescroll 3D plateforme/puzzle game.
At this point only de low part of the pant and de undies are done.
I only post you the Turnaround beacause the concept-art I did is too bad, it has been finished in a hurry and not well.
There will be an infection in her left arm but it isn't shown in the TurnAround.
Very very nice Devan, a very hard post to follow :P
x-post from my thread, some practice
Worked a bit more into this one tonight, gonna leave it at this and get back to other stuff for now. Was great fun though as I've never really tried to create a female face before... might turn it into a character in future Feedback always welcome.
