Chihuahua, that is an enormous image. If you could shrink that down that'd be cool.
Between stage 1 and 2 of your barn, the silhouette doesn't change enough. Maybe add a cupola or a fence or something to differentiate it from stage one a bit more at a glance.
I like both pieces really well and think you did a great job--but thin. long wires like these and the ones connecting to the "ears" being loose like this seem very counter-intuitive and would be quite easily snagged, torn or ripped loose. Would they not been in a more protective covering unless this is used in very controlled settings?
Sorry, this is really nit-picky, but stuff like that sticks out to me. I think the wires add a bit of character, but having them properly housed to prevent easily foreseen possibly catastrophic damage to systems that might rely on said wires, that really makes the work look polished, you know?

Yes i agree with you. I guess the kinda loose cable give it this very fragile look that may seem destructive. Next time iยดll do something similar ill keep that in mind. Thanks
Shortly before i took the shot i came close to it and whispered Itll rain soon!. And that made the rifle so nervous it started sweating without it actually raining. The magic of the digital age eh :poly121:
Making my own realistic/artistic version of an Hatsune Miku as an adult woman. I believe she needs some improvements before I can give her some hair, clothes, and then make her into a game character.
I've been work on my own realistic/artistic version of Hatsune Miku as an Adult. I could make a thread on the process of the model, if I get encouraged to do so.
Iยดm an art student who just looked into PBR and found it utterly amazing and interesting :poly124: So i decided to create some stuff for it. A kinda mech helmet that is a bit inspired/mood through STALKER and a m1 garand. For behind the scenes video, wires or textures here or my blogger.
Who can spot the polycount logos on both models :poly122:

The end of the stock have waaay to much gloss..
Your wood doesn't really sell as wood, I don't know if it's cause of your specular fresnel being wrong or if it's just small grime and dirt that's missing. Or both. It's VERY important to add surface detail in your gloss, may it be dirt, scratches, fat, wear or what ever.. Your wood is just very even and without the water drips it's kind of bland.
Good day Cool World!
Here is a Dota 2 ward piece we just finished, it is entitled "Blind as a Bat Ward". Chay Johansson, Simon Boxer, and I spent the past few weeks creating him as a team and we just submitted him to the Dota 2 work shop. Thanks for your support. Cheers!
Haven't sat down and worked on personal art in a while (or what feels like a while). Here is a WIP texture of a shield I'm working on. Currently focusing on the metal.

I just finished up the base meshes and modified the silhouette of the middle barn. Better?
Since these will be made for RTS-like games (and will be fairly small on screen), each building will have its own single texture sheet.

Here's a little prop that I just finished.

Firecrash: before I even started reading the text the first thought was Skyrim. Great character!
kernersvillan: I swear your scene looks like as if it's pre-rendered. Going to have to check your thread to see how far you'r pushing this.

I really need to practice cloth sculpting and anatomy.
Vagina?
Really gives a new perspective to skull fucking, hahaha. Pretty neat, especially just for a daily sculpt.
@Firecrash, really nice job man, I like the piece a lot, one of my favourite video games naturally.
