Haven't posted any WIPs of this outside my sketchbook before, but I have to post the final one. It's very far from game res, but was fun to do. Will fix stuff like SSS later when Blender actually gets it in the new renderer.
Made for the rendered graphics competition at The Gathering this easter.
Awesome stuff guys. Incredible stuff as usual.Primal carnage is going to be soooooo dope on the ps4 Kevin..well here is some work i have been working on for a while. its a 3d model i kinda took too far..lls
Well heres the last pokemon sculpt I will be doing for this weekly challenge, Zekrom! I cant believe 9 consecutive weeks had already passed XD! I really enjoyed making these speed sculpts, but I think I need to take a break on stylized art and change it up a little, maybe sculpt something more polished and realistic I will keep you guys posted on my next project
I started making knives in my spare time the beginning of the year. After watching the great asset creation tutorials by Harford I decided to bring one into 3d.
Original:
Banged out the high poly last night. Realized this morning I made it harder than it had to be by modeling in the pins. In real life, they way they're made, they're perfectly flush with the wood. Really that's true of the spine as well. The wood and metal are ground to shape together causing no seam. But that would make for a very boring model.
There are some artifacts in the smoothing of of the handle to work out and then doing the low and bakes tonight.
Did some more work on the GoPro camera, almost finished with it minus a few tweaks to the lens based on some feedback, just creating the low to bake it out.
Hi Polycounters, first post here! Pretty happy to be part of the forum! Can't wait to learn and show all my works here.
Working in some creature, sort of a Alien. Mix of Mass Effect, Duke Nukem and the sense of humor from MIB Aliens.
My first goal was to take the Elephant Seal and try to make something cool with that primordial reference. Im working on the Armor, theres a lot work to do yet, but until now im pretty happy with the results!
More work on my Alpine forest foliage test scene. Lots more to do! I want to get lots of colour in there now, by adding lots of colourful flowers and foliage.

Looking good saman, Gav I really like her legging armor, cg-sammu you should continue all 151 oh yea, EiGHT loving that especially the colors, Arthur Ramazanov loving it awesome and interesting.
Nice, I like the overall design. But the warm green/yellow color of the beard feels out of place with his predominantly cool blue color scheme. I would hue shift it closer to blue to make it match. Take a look at the color of his existing moustache.

Been working on a shotgun mainly based on this TF2 concept art, but with a few changes. Still WIP, so feedback to improve it is very welcome!
