I think it's my new all time favorite style ... finishing some characters to go with it next. The whole dungeon fits on a 128x128 texture

I'm not trying the make the "usual" WWII weapons, doing a lot of research before starting a project.... there a lot differences between different manufactures.
Volkssturm weapons are really hard to get good reference picures. I'm not the "Sci-Fi" guy, I'm trying to stick to real weapons.
Which is sometimes more difficult than anybody thinks.

I was asked to make some models, without uv's and textures..
Heavy use of edited vertex normals, almost all vertices have been manually edited. AO baked to vertex colours and manually painted where needed.

Ooohh that is interesting Obscura. You have this running inside UDK? Custom node or doing some trickery with the built in nodes in some crazy configuration? Color me curious sir!
