Concept artwork for a female character I'm looking to start on the weekend.
A - Looks more like a bad-ass free runner.
B - Smart and trendy, probably has her wits about her.
C - Casual, much more homely and settled.
D - Grungy, doesn't really care what others think of her.
E - Punkish, probably won't take crap from anybody.
Posted my concept sketch a little earlier in the Sketch thread for this, but had some time to get some sculpting in as well, so thought I'd put something here as well. Not sure what direction I want to take the head (not loving the concept head) - I'm almost positive he will have one, though :P
Freaky... that's exactly like a garage I did for an art test at a now-defunct mobile game company I was QA'ing at about 7 years ago. Not saying you stole art or something, just it reminds me a lot of the piece I had to reference off of. :poly142:
Dweep, you are killing your final image by dumping all that unreadable text and junk over the final. For your future's sake, reconsider the composition.
I'm currently working on the textures for this gal. Don't mind the skirt though, I'm reworking her high-poly for some nicer-looking folds in the fabric.
Here is a work in progress antique Diver's Knife I'm making.
Any tips on getting the material definition to be better? Struggling a bit here. This is one of my first proper models in that I'm spending loads of time with the spec and gloss maps, in addition to the diffuse and normals. Learning SO MUCH. Still have to do a lot to the wood, and, heck, probably everything else too, but I'm proud to have done something for once, haha.
