@makkon nice work so far ... find some nice reference material for her loincloth (google also for lendenschurz) and sculpt it you can do it -
also post some untextured versions so we can clearer see the form and give better critiques ... you can also do A LOT in the basemesh already
I had started this for a DBZ competition a while back, and I'm re-visiting it to polish up some of the rough spots.
PS. Jocz, looks awesome man! I saw it on FB and thought it looked really great and consistent with the style from the game. Almost looks like a much older/wiser Didact. Good stuff.
Looks awesome Crosmo85! I would try to make his face more insect-like though. He almost looks like he's wearing a suit, because the rest of him is so alien/insect.
@Murph : waw, each time you post something new, it looks so fresh to me. Keep going, it's a pleasure for the eyes and imagination. @Seth. : Damn, can't wait to see where you're going with it ! @Cosmo85 : If i may, i agree with HitmonInfinity, you should make a link between the face and the rest of the insect-like body, maybe with the nose or the cheeks?
Here is something new i'm working on, a couple of demons. I'm planing to make game assets of both, with some modularity with the differents parts of armor and weapons. I'm currently working on the sculpt of the "nude" monster. I will make a thread and post some wips in few days. Anyway, hope you like it !
Thanks for the suggestions HitMonInfinity and TomAnima. It's very loosely based on the original DBZ concept which is itself a bit wacky looking back at it, but was more about having fun with the character and fleshing it out in a new way.
Also, TomAnima, that concept is great, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun making them. Look forward to seeing more!
Cosmo85, i totally agree, the important is to have fun. Ho ! I forgot to say that i love what you've done with him
And thanks, be sure that i'm having fun too, working on them
These low poly characters (1600 to 2900 tris depending on the props) are an expansion of the customizable male model that I made for a project from Qigames
Awesome stuff on here as always. This site is VERY inspiring to me.
I may do some fixes here and there, though he's basically finished.

Blake Mead Nice work! I like the render, the lighting is pretty dramatic!
Shameless crosspost from my Thread once again.
Texturing is going pretty smootlhly and I'm really enjoying it. It's really fun to do those very dirty texture and I really feel like I'm learning so much in this process.
little sneak peek of what it's looking like at the moment
Almost ready to call this done. Looking for some feedback on angles and any other major tweaks I can do. I'm ready to call this done within the next few days though.
@tucho - thanks! For the shots I posted I used Marmoset and just used the Outline option and just turned the outline to black. It is basically just edge detection. I have it set up in UDK as well, but I don't think the renders/screenshots come out as nice. Here is a page to set it up in UDK if you're interested. The outline might actually be nicer in UDK than Marmoset it's just the screenshots aren't as nice.
@simonlindwall - thanks! I'd love to get your take on how much shininess as I'm not quite sure myself. See below. I kind of tend to lean to adjusted or a bit more than adjusted myself.
Oh my goodness, everything is so awesome on this thread. Zenoart that is one lovely painting. I love how minimal the strokes are, but everything is still super clear.
Long time lurker, first time posting something on WAYWO, a personal project I've been working on for some time now. Rendered in Keyshot. Maybe I'll make a thread for it..
Calling this guy done. Scrapped the weapons as they looked out of place and unfortunately (due to lack of foresight) its not very deformable. 6'264 tris.

Here a liitle update from my end.
I agree with Tits... I always agree with Tits.
Fem deer women probably shouldn't have a happy trail. It's a man thing imo; culturally you're pushing the idea into mixed sex territory.
That's up to you though it's just a matter of intent. I think the model is solid enough on its own merit, it's just the audience you'd like to hit.
Also, you'll have to make cloth at some point in your life, might as well fight the battle now while you're staring the demon in the eyes 8|
Some more progress.
Guh, teach me to sculpt! I love it!

Painted at 2048. Thanks!
I think it's a bit like a melted deformed potato head with low res tom cruise texture.
