@Dylan Brady, That's looking really cool, well done!
Originally this was just going to be a practice sculpt. But I thought I could use some more practice with poly painting and baking. The low poly bust is 1,432 tris and I know it could use some rounding out.
Here's a little tiki dude that i've been working on, still fixing those textures and trying out the multi pass rendering in Zbrush! Critiques are more than welcome
Hi, so this would be my first legit post here after saying hello. This forum really inspires me to work harder
Anyway, I'm currently working on a sketch of meditating hippie-girl for a client.
To make my life easier I use roughly positioned 3dSmax biped, and add "gesture" on top. It can be a trap, for standard biped in max have some proportions far from perfect (I guess i should customize it first). Notice how I had to make her arm longer.
After many failed attempts, I finally settled on some fur for the legs.
Cloth-simed the clothing because I'm too incompetent to sculpt it.
two things:
1. personally i think the fur should follow the pelvic line on a female character, right now it's very male looking (i know, i know, tropes).
@ Makkon,
She's looking awesome! I like how innocent she looks (really fits since she's part deer). Also I say you should have a go on that cloth dude! The top looks nice, but the loincloth just seems way to stiff to be comfortable, And I'm sure you can do this better than the sim did! Give it a go and post it, see if people have helpful crits on it

I was like "Hey, that looks like something I played when I was younger" and sure it is! Great work, instantly recognizable.
Had alot of problems with the baking, normal map still isn't quite right.

And here I'm trying to make it look older

2. irony! admission of incompetence can only come when someone is competent enough to recognise it! ergo, you are competent at sculpting cloth :P
