Turret that is looking really cool! I would suggest adding a rim light to make it stand out, and a subtle light on the other side to pop out the volumes.
Working of a new project! It's gonna be a complete character design, from concept to 3D game-ready model. Please, visit my thread and give me some feedback.
I would really appreciate it
Ha that's brilliant scapulator sweet proportions
Assassin Looking Super nice Luke_Starkie, I agree with af3d about adding some subtle colour variation. I'd also push dat spec more to emphasize the material differentiation between cloth and metal. Dvolution Holy Crap Dude! Instasave! :poly142:
ichidan I LOVE IT SO MUCH *^* all you need is cake now
Dat bot is so sexy zxcman!
Nice Guedin, if you figure out colour ramps I wanna know!
Dang JFletcher, cool stylized look, either way that'l be ref for meeeeee
Dem thighs jimsvanberg , Check your shoulder blades tho, too close together. also shes like 9 heads tall altho that's fine if your going for superhero stature, but just thought I'd mention eitherway.
I'm attempting to turn this spur of the moment head into a character, I've made a rough body to throw some clothes on, so no detailing.
And some trousers, I've been planning the crease work and would love some advice on whether they're folding right or not before I start detailing them.
Also scribbled a quick idea for the outfit. Messy but informative lol.
More progress on my stately home scene, made some big changes today based on feedback both from the lovely folks here on Polycount and also the guys at work.
Really enjoying the scene atm, hopefully will be able to get more update as the week goes on.
Something I've been working on for a few weeks.
Still needs a lot of work before I even think about making the low poly.
Any help would be appreciated.
More stuff for my anatomy thread, gave up on the old one, starting the new one off from two or three references I found on 3d.sk and one from ffffound.
Procrastinated a bit from paid work to give my Nate some dDo loving. Is pretty awesome for generating basic grungy stuff (that I'd normally do by hand anyway)
@BrianP, Pretty sick texture you got there buddy @scotthomer Love the texturing job too, the color palette is very nice
Sneak peak of my new project.
Can you recognize already?
I should visit this thread more often. Lots of great stuff in here!
Here's something I've been messing around with lately. It's just a test to see if I can achieve the look I'm going for this snow covered intersection I'm working on.
Hi! This is my first post here. I still have much to get a hang of in subdiv and poly modeling (I come from an ID and parametric modeling background) but anyways, I've been working on this for a while on and off after work. Geo's almost done, aside from some tweaking, texturing and mats are next.
Mask_Salesman thanks for the input Superhero-ish proportions are intentional. However messed up shoulder blades are not, so thanks a lot for pointing it out to me
scotthomer: Nice!! impressive detail... I've always liked the way dioramas can look in terms of presentation. Last I saw you could see some of the room below, I do think it reads better the way it is now. What's left?

Okay, so I finished up my little skull chest project. Fixed up some modeling and had to remodel, rebake, retexture probably about 4-5 times... ugh. Anyways, creative critiques very much welcome.
