Been working on this the last couple of weeks. Trying to get better at cloth and anatomy sculpting and texturing. (Textures still WIP)
Probably the jeans folds at the bottom on her right leg need a little bit more work, and I'm not really sure about her feet size, they look slightly off size, anyway, that's a really nice character
Practicing low poly modelling from various concept arts (mostly pinched from the noob thread) - whole scene currently stands at under 4000 tris.
Texture is WIP and from a sheet that I DID NOT MAKE. I know the spec is all nasty and everything right now.
Essentially, I was wondering if anyone knows what is causing this weird light fragmentation effect in UDK? It appears to be following seams made when I bool'd out the holes in 3DS Max, but it only occurs in these two places?
Cheers for any help, I've never seen this while modelling before!
Mad Scientist Lab I am working on as an assignment for my Materials & Lighting course. Still in the process in modeling everything so haven't done anything else.
Textures started in GIMP, plan to move over to Krita or Mypaint after getting lines and minor details corrected. Low-Polyish hand-painted style for a comic project.
Slipgatecentral: Really amazing work man! Ravenslayer: One of my favorite entries from the start, very nice work! Azkur: Man, this celula design is grotesque and incredible. I love it!
Here i want to share some of my last wip for differents projects.
Here is my version of the Old Damaged Pillar from Eat 3D. Learning as much as I can so I can get caught up with you guys. You all are truly inspiring. Here is my model. 2,936 tri's and 3 2048x2048 textures Diffuse, Normal, and Spec. Thanks
trying to mimic the sand dunes in the halo 5 trailer, need to sculpt some jaggy rocks like they have in the trailer and put them throughout the scene, then hop into vue and make a proper skybox.
Not that much left to do on this guy I think. I cut the loin piece as I couldn't find a good way to show a logo/symbol motif on it. I almost like it better this way actually.

Hey man, I really love this. But I feel like it's lacking values. It needs some more darks and maybe light areas to make it pop. Really cool though!
Hi forum ^^
I actually finished this one about a month ago but I forgot to post it here for feedback. As you might see it's a Zelda fanart. I printed it on canvas and gave it to my wife when we had been together for ten years, since she is a big Zelda fan. Anyways, I tried to mimic the style of the Minish Cap art while still taking some liberties.
started to learn Mudbox so i sculpted a "rock" and put it in 3d coat where i made a wall. i know its repetitive, and that it doesnt look like its made of rocks, but any C&C is welcome
