Some progress on a scene im working on, in Cryengine 3. I've had this diorama in my mind for the past few years and I finally wanted to focus on destruction and baroque, my 2 favorite flavors. This weekend I baked out the fireplace and put some base colors on it to try and set it into the scene.
Thats Amazing workl! It reminds me of the dream world in Dishonoured, so cool, I've wanted to do something like this. *inspired!
Still heavy WIP, colors aren't final. Some are more like placeholders/vague ideas.
Some characters I've been working on for some hours... I wanted to explore some vectorestyle... I still have soooo much to learn. Will try out some gradients and cellshading.
And I'm still thinking about a better style for the hands... I don't want to go to into detail too much like showing every finger... hum.
Any toughts? What do you think about the style itself?
I'm a fan of the way Vamps changed back in the day in Buffy... yes Buffy and my wife loves how the veins come to the surface below the eyes of vamps in Vampire Diaries, so exploring that, I mixed the two.
Working on learning Zbrush. Attempted a few head sculpts so far, this is the first one that I really feel good about the progress of. Everything is from a sphere and dynameshed.

Working on the Mark III. Got two months to finish the full suit, enjoying working on this but there's a lot of challenging shapes. But I like a challenge.
Working on Textures for Raichu. I didn't get super far on the normal map although I think most of the issues that are left are from the sculpt itself, not the baking process. I'll probably end up just going with a diffuse map since that fits the Pokemon style more closely anyway.
Awesome stuff! Really like that Rediculously front weighted vehicle Mr Smo!
Got the first couple bits of texture on the machine this weekend. Probably update it again in a week or 2. (: More here at the threadskis
Thanks again for any feedbizzle!
Been working on finishing something, but I can't quite decide on a final look. I messed around with the outline and a more normal shading. What do you think?
supacluelessI have that concept, so sick! It's coming out good man, keep it coming. Mr SmoOh my. That is bad ass.
Just got done re-rendering this. Most of the renders on my site use a 1024x1024 texture map, but i decided to try rending this out with the original 2048.

Also been messing around with a Gengar sculpt.
Last time I used Zbrush was 1 year ago
I'm not happy with the anatomy and I've spent so much time on each of them (like 4-6 hours)
I need to practice more and also I'm looking into exporting the models and render them on a pathtracer renderer to make them prettier.
Thanks AkiRa! Vehicle is looking good.
Cool work Denis! Very nice atmosphere, that's UDK, right?
