Hello everyone!
worked on a fan art of Lil' Cactus from Legend of mana, love this little guy so much after replaying the game recently on the switch felt inspired to do a hand painted version of him.
for more shots and the Idle animation link to the artstation post.
Really appreciate the support but also need to acknowledge that a lot of artists have contributed to this thread over the years. Think the best way to honor that is for the discussion here to remain focused on the community coming together to provide feedback for modeling and topology questions.
Personally, the +Greentooth button seems like an appropriate way to thank someone or highlight a post without having to add a two or three word reply.
Hello again, last one of the series with this Death figure and some variations for her cultists!

I chose to create prop this time. good challenge for me . Highpoly is now complete with lowpoly and UV. Had to remake model once but now i think it looks nice 🙂. Next thing to do is starting to do ID map and texturing.
@MattWard Good job so far but I think you are going into the details to fast. Really focus on the foundation (the cutting board flow) and build on that shape. If you are going sculpt afterwards I'd wait until then before getting into the details on the wheels and bread.
I did a blockout for the cart, (still needs the cupcake and some fixes to the back.
i really dont understand the issue. importing, dynamesh and polish work just fine for me. no need to zremesh or handsmooth anything on my end. if you want less planar bevel and more rounded one, i would suggest to just use a different method to chamfer/bevel.
i feel like right now you are overthinking and underdoing. this is one simple brick thing, the first example isnt polished enough the second might be fine. i suggest you actually start putting what you learned into some actual testcase
Someone legitimately said to me, "But don't you want artists to get paid?"
Like yes, that's what buying their work does. NFT not at all required. Just buy artwork from artists you like.
So now i got the table completed! Learned alot of new thing with this one. Baking was a challenge and i think it could be better but still good. Also got marmoset toolbag just for this one. I will use it for future art. Overall im happy with the result. Comments and critique is always welcome. Cannot wait for the next challenge! :)
