Maya UV Widget problem... o.O
Well, i dnt really know how to describe this, but the widgets are not working as they should in the UV editor, especially the scale tool its jsut grey'd out, and i cant scale uniformly, only in 1 direction at a time, and same for the Move tool, i can only move in 1 direction at a time, Normaly there is that little circle… -

When I was working on my UC entry I tried to figure out how Epic did their skymaps and why they did it that way. I know now how but not entirely why since there is a bit of waste UV wise. So, I understand how UVW mapping works and how the U and V axis relate to the X and Y axis and whatnot, but...what IS the W axis? Is there any cool stuff we can do by messing around with it?
