It doesn't need to animate when the player is close, more like an ocean made of cubes. I'm thinking it would be something like, moving vertexes on the Y-axis using a sin wave, on a giant floor piece made up of a bunch of cubes? any ideas on how to do this? Would this be too inefficient or work at all?
