Hi, I'd like to ask you about sculpting everything you imagine - you can see it there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onWhRE2zhzs&t=313s I tried soo many times but I never succed. I try using many references and other stuff but I think that I can't read reference. Any advices? Ps: Lately I cannot sculpt anything - I mean I…
Hey Guys, I have some practices about rock sculpting in Zbrush. I know that I have a lot of mistakes, But I sure here there are a lot of great artists that can give favour to me and mention my mistakes to improve myself. So I put this renders to get some feedback and critique. These are my last practice in Zbrush about…
Hey all. I'm after a list of available base meshes for beginning to sculpt. As I'm pretty new to 3D art (I'm a programmer after all) I thought maybe I'd practice sculpting until my modelling skills will let me do a base mesh too. I've got Nick Z's base mesh. But I was wondering if anyone had seen others with different…
Here's a sculpt based on Mark "Crash" McCreery's Drawings of Stan Winston's creature the Yautja. I'm trying to push myself on this one. I've tried nanomesh for the first time on the collar (not too happy with the look as of this post). Pretty sure there is a setting so the geo used for the nanomesh welds but I haven't…
Hi guys this is a sculpt I did on and off for about 2 month, will continue working on it, would love some critique so I could getting better on human sculpting. Thanks ahead ! All done in zbrush (sculpting, fibermeshing and polypaint)
A Hunter BOW (Bio Organic Weapon) from Resident Evil This is a project that I've been wanting to do since I first started working in 3d almost 7 years ago. At the time I was playing the Resident Evil Code Veronica and these creatures caught my imagination. For some reason I've always loved the design of the creature. I…
I was wondering how I can sculpt a plane and have as a final result something that can be exported as a height map. That would require my plane not to have any overhangs like this one http://i.imgur.com/O9x4Ry8.png (The yellow area would be lost detail in the final heightmap) Is there any option to limit my sculpting areas…
Yay! My account was re-activated! I was hoping for some anatomy crits/paint-overs. This is my first real sculpt since recovering from nerve damage in my elbow. I wasn’t able to draw/sculpt for over a year. It’s just a simple male anatomy sculpt but I’d love to get some opinions before I moved forward. Thanks for any help…
Hi everyone! I decided recently to give real sculpting another attempt after failing pretty miserably 7 years ago. I got some super sculpey grey firm and started by doing something small and working my way up. So the first thing I did was the eat3d logo since I had perfect reference for it, and it went pretty smooth. Next…
For just coming to grips with mudbox and sculpting I'd say you did a great job. The main thing that I would look to improve on your next sculpts is nailing your base forms first before detailing. Try to think about sculpting from the inside then out. Focus on the shape of the skull as it should define most of your head.…
