Base Meshes for sculpting

Hey all.

I'm after a list of available base meshes for beginning to sculpt. As I'm pretty new to 3D art (I'm a programmer after all) I thought maybe I'd practice sculpting until my modelling skills will let me do a base mesh too.

I've got Nick Z's base mesh. But I was wondering if anyone had seen others with different proportions.

I'm specifically after a small girl base mesh for sculpting (similar to that "HitGirl" thread on Zbrush central). As my game needs a small-ish girl of those proportions.

Anyone got any links to base meshes of various sexes/proportions they care to share? Or even the meshes themselves.

Hahaha.. ok, I found that page about 2 minutes ago. Although, it doesnt really have a young girl base mesh on it. I did find one on 3dOcean.net though, so I'll likely buy that.

Thanks for the heads up though. I did search before that. But tended to find the same stuff. I guess my google-fu isnt strong enough yet.

Ooh, nice Lazerus. Had no idea that was there! I really like the full body one that just has the mouth modelled.

It shouldn't be too hard to get the proportions down to a small girl's! Don't know about mudbox but the translate tools in Zbrush are perfect for this.
