Hi there all, This is my first time posting on polycount. Currently i am sculpting a character called Ip Man from the movie Ip Man. Skill level wise i've used zbrush for a short time, so my sculpting skills are still at an amateur level. But through this sculpt i am hoping to push my skills up a bit, at the end of this…
I've always finished sculpting the blockout in Zbrush, and then used zremesher to evenly quadrangulate my sculpt for proper subdividing and detailing. Zremesher has that effect though, where it kind of melts your sculpt and you lose some form, which I guess you can get back by storing a morph target of your dynamesh…
Dear Polycounters I'm currently busy graduating for my Game Design master and i'm working on a Low End 3D pipeline with Zbrush integrated. At the moment i'm doing some research into "digital sculpting" in general but I was wondering: Where is the line between 3D (poly) modelling and Digital Sculpting for you. What does…

Hey fellas. I'm sculpting an evil looking alien for practice purposes. It's a mixture of Furio Tedeschi, Star Craft Zealots and Predator. I'm also going to work on a realistic alien skin for this guy to run in game engines. Here's the sculpt.
I decided to try sculpting in Zbrush with perspective turned off. Then when I was done I turned it back on and I felt like it was a bit distorted. Is it ? or is it just me ? Should I sculpt in Flat or Perspective ? Flat Perspective
