Yeah Malcolm, it works in 2008. It will work with multiple materials. It doesn't work if you just hold right click over the material and select objects with material. You have to do it in the Edit menu.

Hey, I've made some materials in designer and when I publish them to painter they look awful. I Published them with relative to parent at zero and ticked seed and output size on in parameters.
