I saw a tutorial where this guy was making a face, in Maya. This one: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xls25e08sSg[/ame] Now I see that he's connecting faces, dividing polygons with the greatest of ease. I think it's called the Split Edge Ring Tool? Is there some kind of plugin that duplicates this tool in 3ds Max?
I just built my first low poly human character, and I and starting on a new one. However, for some reason, max decided to stop selecting faces unless I drag the mouse over the entire face instead of just part of it. It wasn't like that last night and i'm losing my mind trying to figure this out
hey, I'm currently working in maya and have a situation where I'd like to use a UV option similar to max's 'face' uvw map option, where each face is mapped individually to a square. I can't for the life of me find anything similar, and doing it by hand would be a bit of a pain. Any ideas? cheers, roo
Hi everybody, I'm working on a Beam Data particle system and I'm trying to lock the up axis so that the particles, instead of always facing the camera, are locked to always face upwards. Adding a Lock Axis module didn't help at all. Any ideas on how to make this work? Would be much appreciated.

The hair is superb and the whole model is gorgeous. If I had any feedback it'd be that the face looks a bit too clean, since shes lost an eye and shes a warrior I'd expect a her face to be a bit more rough.
Wanted exagerate the forms of the face more and really have fun with this. I'll be working on the armor now to bring it up to the level of the face. I plane on using zmodeler because I dont have much experience with it. Comments welcome!
[PB]Snoelk I tried to find any unmapped faces on my model and couldn't, I also ran cleanup searching for unmapped faces, model still loads forever so I'm still not able to try the software.
