Is there any way to generate object space normals with NDO? If not, is it possible to composite the normals from NDO into an object space bake from the low-poly to create an object-space version?

Hi, I am using 3ds max 2016 and recently I have been facing a strange problem. When I group a number of objects, then change the size of the group and then ungroup, all the objects return to their original size. It is very frustrating to have objects resize everytime I ungroup.
