The model I'm currently working on has too many objects for what I need to do. Does anyone know of a way to combine objects, but preserve each object's UV map?
Edit poly > attach. If the pieces have different maps you can make a multi-sub-object material and apply different material ID's to the different pieces.
You select an object, Right click it and choose convert to Editable Poly or Editable Mesh and under the "Edit Geometry" rollout there is a button labeled Attach and Attach List.
