Hello everyone! I've been lurking for awhile, decided I should probably nut up and start a wip thread. I recently started doing a space marine drop pod from Warhammer 40k. I'm just about ready to call the hi-poly done: I had this possibly stupid idea to go buy the actual model kit, and then scan the individual plastic…
Hi! (How are you guys?)I've made a mining truck model. I intend to use it as portfolio in an asteroid mining concept with unreal. Just a prop, not driveable. I went for airless tires as it seemed logical to me in a space exploration theme but it does use a lot of tris. Would you add more detail in other parts of the base…
Hey all, I wanted to reach out and get some thoughts on this stylized character sculpt. The original concept is from Hyeonsick Choi and the character is called "Flamingo" I feel like overall it's missing something to help it stand out. Right now it feels like it has the basic components, but it's either missing some…
This is intended to be SubD, but being my first go at that stuff I wimped out in most places on it. It was done for fun in preperation for the upcoming CGI fan-film based on StarCraft (if you like SC and are a decent modeler, join us!)... Clearly a WIP (missing a LOT of geometry), but I don't think I can finish it because…
WIP renders of the Batman model I am working on. Hey guys, here are some renders of my latest project. I am looking for some critique and feedback on what I have currently. Detailed head close-up Body renders Detailed worn leather glove close-up WIP expression test Full detail renders - (Coming to the end of the high poly…
LATEST UPDATE: I'm busy improving myself by creating some scenes for my portfolio website. In this scene I want to focus on modularity, lighting effects in combination with particles. I chose an abandoned factory hallway for my scene. To get a feeling where I'm taking my inspiration from I did a little research and made a…
I am modeling the Leuchtpistole 34 flare gun for my weapon art portfolio (https://www.artstation.com/alexanderlindberg) and I have now completed the low poly. I want feedback on it as I am not super well versed in low poly creation from high poly and any critique on it would be appreciated! Sidenote: Certain features of…
Recently started head bust. My sculpting skills are a bit rusty, and something about the anatomy and proportions feels off. I can't put my finger on it though. Anything that comes to mind at first glance? I'm looking to stylize the character a fair amount once the proportions look okay.
Original character's head was taken from a painting by Jan Buragay, but Moebius is definitely a big inspiration. Here is progress on the project, almost done with ZBrush, soon I will get into texturing etc. Feedback would be nice :)
So, I've been working on this for a bit and I wanted to share my progress on this project, with the hopes of fueling my interest and keeping my motivation going. This is a castle is inspired by the 13th century. I've always loved the medieval era and I've been researching to get this place looking as historically authentic…
