FuturePoly does both characters and env courses. But I presume you meant env(you mentioned deco ref and architecture). Pinterest has a ton of awesome stuff.
Hi, I am having a hard time figuring out why I cant get correct reflections in my scene. I have 3 env probes placed and each are box projected. I read that the dimensions of the box should be half of the room,, I have done this. I also tried to minimize the env probe radii from overlapping. Any ideas?
just don't try to sell it that way to the env lead interviewing you. people want to hire env artists who are passionate about creating environments. not people who figured it was the easiest way to get to a different position. also, your decision seems to imply that you can get an env position with no effort, but would…
yeah it really makes no sence on a fundamental level. if your going for an env position than theres no reason to learn characters/anatomy... its just wasted time and wont really benefit you as an env artist.
awesome book worth the $$ if you didn't go to Pax and snag one there. oh and its got a decent amount of env. stuff in it. from a quick flip through it looks to be an even split between character and env.
so.. you mean the env guys do props? or an environment with models that can't excede 1k polys each? I might be dumb, but a bit of clarification might be nice for any env guys giving it a shot. :)
