An Alien and a Room (char. and env.)

I used to love Aliens when I was a kid, collected all the toys and I still have em to this day. They make awesome references for modeling, more than any picture could 
More recently, I also bought some of the newer action figures by MacFarlane Toys. I thought it would be interesting to tackle one of these unique creatures. There's not much to my model right now but I'm happy with how its progressing. I hope you guys are too ... critique away, as always.
Here is an environment I started working on awhile ago. It started out as a simple air conditioning unit, then I started adding more props until it became what it is now. I'm planning on taking this all the way to the bitter completed end, since it is a rather small environment. I'm sort of all over the place as far as workflow. Started UVing the more simple props, still modeling some more extra props that would really add to the clutter of the room, and building up some tiling texture.
