To be honost no it's not, it won't get as much votes or looks at the workshop because ppl just don't care. That's why I stopped working on the less popular heroes... Which is a shame offcourse but still it's the reality.
But that chen head is really good, so I'm not affraid that it won't draw attention.

BH weapons textured, probably near final textures. Got the head, chest and pads left to do. About halfway done.
Last time out I also got a couple of critiques about how bland the weapons looked. Do you guys still think so? I do think the forms are a little simple, but the silhouettes are also really distinct. I set out to use this to concept to try and make a really simple but solidly produced set. Hope I've pushed the textures enough that they're better than my previous work. I'm a little curious to see how Valve and the workshop would react to that.
(Though I somewhat fear that the japanese theme will push the lore into "too alien a territory" in Valve's words. There's more japanese style items coming in the set.)
The texture work looks good though you have some odd shading on the end of the weapon there. But, I just can't overlook that these seem like regular handheld weapon scaled up to 3-4 times their original size.

I think the big weapons are a good idea. They are simple, recognizable and look badass! (lets face it, who hates ninjas?) I think they fit great into dota2 and I can see a lot of people willing to pay for those.
I'm not saying that the idea is very creative/original, but it's good nonetheless.

Wanted to test out the new features of MT2 and I also added an ingame shot.
The new MT2 dota features are pretty awesome..
It's a bit of a shame the ingame texture is slightly blurry. Warrunner allready got a low tricount but his texture space is rediculous as well.. Let me know what u guys think!

Just started picking up on things again and begun texturing a sword I'm working on for Svenpa. Only flat colors for now.
We have a lot of runestones here in Sweden so I was going for that type of feeling.
Published this Puck set. I wasn't aware there was a 2mb limit on gifs, no wonder they all look super shitty. I had to compress gifs that weren't amazing looking to begin with.

@Frump: I think the sillhoutte is really nice, but it's a bit too pink for me. Maybe blend the pink more with the blue, or make it slightly turn to dark purple?

@Belkun: It still doesn't read very well as a bee. Make the antennae thinner/longer and lean forward maybe, because that's closer to typical depictions of bees. I also think he should have some cute mandibles. It's strange without a mouth. I actually never noticed the wings until looking closely at it now, which is a problem, wings are one of the most prominent features of a bee. Definitely make those more noticeable.

I think I'm pretty much done with the bee walking model. Need some crits on it!
They're getting a bit lost against the body and the feet are sort of disappearing too. Though a top down gradient will probably help with the feet.
