Okay, so the importer indeed works now, textures showing up fine, I have a centaur weapon that I am trying to upload, and though the textures work now I am having some issues with the rigging. I haven't had any issues with other items or other heroes, but with centaur it seems like some bones work for rigging and some just don't. The weapon bone is one of those, when I bind my weapon to the weapon bone it seems to just be bound to the root bone on import. It works to bind it to a bicep bone, though obviously that's not what I want, but doesn't work to bind it to a wrist bone. Does anyone know how to get rigging of a centaur weapon to work?
That warlock staff is effing awesome! Nice job! You did some really nice things with the color choices. My only critique would be that the transition between the normal wood and the glowy-flamey looks a bit abrupt in game.

Because Desolate is definitely that smokey and sparky, you grumpy rat.
I'm submitting it as a suggested modification to Flak Cannon so it won't show up on every auto attack if Valve implements it.
It's looking really great, but I agree that it reminds a bit of Desolator's particle. Maybe it's because of the GIF compression or something. I'd suggest making it more orange/yellow, with less red to differentiate it from Desolator.

The proportions are off, the colors are off, and the materials are off. Does not really feel Enchantress or Chinese to me

That bow looks really heavy, maybe you should adjust the width.

black horses with just outlined hooves (no filling)
I can appreciate sticking to the concept if it works, in this case I think it's just to strong/jarring and I don't think Valve would like it due to the specific top down shading guidlines.
Thanks for the feedback on the bow guys, I have things to play with when I get home. As for the colors this one will not be red and gold for sure, not only does it conflict with Windrunner it actually conflicts with the colors associated with the horse theme of this item. Granted the red/gold is kind of the exception because it is always associated with Chinese new year

If this is your argument you should have given the whole horse more of a brush stroke feel, and break up the overall darkness of it's body. Right now it just looks like a regular horse with hooves dipped in white paint.

Gold and red is the color combo of the year. But I pulled the orange from her hair instead.

FInally finished my crazy horse face, suggestions and comments welcome! And any likes you can spare .
I've some gripes with that fluff below the spearhead, as the direction of the fibers completely ignore any sense of gravity.
I would suggest to make its borders continuous to negate this effect, something more like this:
You could also work a bit more on your colors, apply some subtle gradients here and there to make its shapes pop out, flat colors = flat model
