had a look around earlier and started my house just outside of the village- creeper sneaked up on me and made a hole in the ground near to where the well is- managed to patch it up but didn't have gravel on me for the path. sorry!

Hey Xvampire, could you share the mods you used in those pics? I've not kept up with the Minecraft trend so I've forgotten all the hoops and loops of the mcraft mod community.

make sure you install optifine beforehand delete Meta-inf inside minecraft.jar
once you install optifine, you dont need other mod to have proper texture pack to work
for texture pack I use John smith as usual.
- if you using some HD custom texture pack , and it has weird cloud or no cloud at all it because the cloud they use not compatible, thus go to that open texture pack .zip file , and delete the cloud file. ( it will use vanilla minecraft instead)
that is not easy to install! i installed the optifine thru magic launcher like it says, but when i did it shows as having errors, and the game wont launch. i did the 1.2.5 build..

Yeah it was easy to install. Laggy though so I reverted to classic textures but the fancy shaders. You want hard? Try installing the Python based mods for Oblivion. Took me hours to work that one out.
i owe some one an apology and then i owe them a stack of wool dudes standin on each others shoulders, i was messin around and wanted to see if a lava water fall off the dudes would look cool.,. not knowing that the lava will destroy the wool blocks. so it all caught on fire. when the lava goes away i will remake them
(almost) finished my updated subway station design. it now has independently actuating front, rear and passenger gates to prevent carts from accidentally being kicked backwards down the track when players exit.
i added Articio and turned off the citizen's plugin. the npc's in there are just the default game ones. still a bunch at the spawn one. i've been building huts and they have been opening and closing doors.
edit: the ABBA switches control the front/arrival and rear/departure gates. since they need constant current to remain in the "on" position (gate raised, track retracted), a flipflop is used to toggle their input current.

I found the crater someone made next to the spawn village. That shit doesn't make me happy. The hole that went straight down to the void next to the crater continued the trend of asshattery. So it's turned off.

btw found a mine system around near my base (the big sandstone building near spawn village)- it seems to connect up to the other chasm which is beside the village. I think a couple of players might have gone through it already as there are light blocks dotted in some parts and cobblestone walls up in places, plus I accidentally broke through to the railway system but blocked the wall back up again so no damage done
The mine is under the spawn village. i didnt explore it yet, dont think anyone else has.
There is a shaft down to it in the building with all the metal railings on it and the metal crown on it. in the first floor there is a trap door down to the mine i built, just to connect it, but havent done much else.
yah the creative mode on the server is permanent. individuals can have it but its not going to be auto granted as a server default. we obviously have some new asshats that cant be trusted.
Btw as a reminder, that's a good way to lose your polycount membership.

it runs from the spawn village (look for the slanted red roof to the southeast, then go down the stairs and look for the orange stripe on the ceiling) to my village, derpington.
it's almost fully automatic, so all you need to do is press the button that says "press to call cart," wait for it to come into the station and for the gate to lower, then rightclick to get in, and you're off! when you arrive, just hop on out and walk up the stairs, the cart will recycle itself.
i'll post a more in-depth video of how it works later on.

make sure you do this one for the last step, since his cloud not compatible with the shader
the original author might recommend you to install more stuff, but this is all you need to do. rather than reading wall of text and spoiler boxes
@habboi, lower the distance level to medium instead of far, and make the fog a bit near. it look even better with fog.

I made an album for polycount, will keep uploading for more screenshot, , im on survival mode, so might not have the best angle ..

I will give a hand for teraforming , got tons of dirt. even tho im in survival mode.
