The PC I run the server on will be MIA for the next couple of days, but I'm going to try running the server on a spare. It's old, and only has 4 GB of memory, but it's better than nothing. Hoping it'll work.. As long as it doesn't use too much mem we should be good.
Sorry, I thought I had it running! Maybe it was an issue with the forwarding that I forgot to check on. I just got my main PC back home today though, it should be back to normal.
Well it's been fun, but seeing as the server has for the most part come to a standstill, I've decided to take it down. If there is ever any interest in the future for any type of Minecraft server I would be happy to host it, y'all just let me know.
Yeah, it was great while it lasted, however it was a bit empty, when there wasn't anymore then a handful who ever got into the game. Maybe another time. And thanks for providing the world, gotta preserve some of our 'waste of time' work.
If we ever pick it back up again in the next 4 years, lag definitely shouldn't be an issue! That is, if I can get a static IP (easy) and forward a port to my IP (not so easy...).
