that looks great jramauri, the white spec seems to work very well on the skintones but a little less on the cloth parts so maybe add some color in there. Also keeping the background grayscale is a lost opportunity, just a small colorize with some blue could give it an extra pop. And what would also complete the piece are some stitches on the leather .
Next to that really nice progress
paprika, looking good, I know you're not done yet but I think the fur needs much more tonal and colour variation. but I guess that depends on the style you're going for.
Alphavader, looking cool, maybe rethink the colour palette though? it looks a bit chaotic
amazing work Impala, jramauri, seth
I've started a Vespa that will eventually look smashed up and rusted, in a similar vein to the Beetle I did recently, for Stina and the Wolf
and this.. horribly disfigured as an excuse for poor anatomy...
Ravenslayer: Thank you, man. I consider this done, because I spent more time on it than I should. But great tips for next pieces.
Hboybowen, SupRore, Seth and Benji: Thanks mates, too good receive such positive feedback here on PC. Make me feel really happy. Because I know you have no mercy!
Well I was going to stop after doing this robots leg but then I deiced fuck it and just finished the rest of it ha
Had to change a few things most notably the grill as the concept has a flat grill but on curved skull which couldn't actually happen when turned to 3d.

Original Creature Box Concept
this is pretty cool but it actually is possible if u try harder to think of what he meant
though ill give ya alittle help here since i think its pretty important shape of this concept

not 100% accurate, but just to give u the idea
That, and I'm not sure how your version walks. His legs are all inverted inward and the "achilles" type tendon in the leg is pointless. Not a huge deal but I think it'd definitely make for better pose-ability and make more sense if they were flipped the direction of the concept.

Thanks Lonewolf. Yeah defiantly debated going that way first but decided against it due to the line it creates that wasnt evident at all in the concept when it apears to be flawlessly round all the way through. I figured that would look better then a hard line but after seeing it and how much is dose lose from the concept defiantly something I will change. Another flaw in not blocking out the head before I started haha.
And the legs are easily adjusted, that was just the random rotation that they were at last before I started to work on the head. Thanks for pointing these things out guys
Fuse: Actually, his proportions are spot on if you're going for realistic proportions. Yes, they're not the ideal man. But no-one is the ideal man.
I'm totally failing at 3d right now, guys. So I'll be doing plenty of 2d for the next little bit.
Early concept art for my brother's up-coming boardgame "Small Armies." I'll be doing all of the design work for the game's assets, including the cards and game-box. These are just some early concepts of the characters. Let me know what you think!
Also, brush-pens are amazing. You can pick one up at a hobby store in the calligraphy section, be sure to get one that is water based (so it doesn't stain) and that you can buy more ink cartridges for. Mine cost about $9.
Autocon, I'm REALLY diggin' the way you made the face of the robot. I much prefer it to the original design. Great job, it's making me hungry for some hardsurface.

No, I totally failed the likeness of the person I used as a reference :P. But I think im going back to this after I finish the sculpt im working on now and add some hair and rework some details. And hopefully you can tell who it is then.
Heres what im working on now, its a WIP though, just posed him quickly last night to make him more interesting, going to go rework some stuff and add details and wrinkles.
Great sketches Makkon! Full of movement and personality. It really makes me want to bust out the brushpen - it's been far too long since I've used one.
@ Autocon: That walker is awesome, nice choice of concept. I do think reworking the head to fit Lonewolf's suggestions would really help. I prefer the more menacing appearance it has.
Looks great
Did you use an actor as reference? This guy reminds me so much of an actor thats never the main guy, just a hardass in the army or something like that. Cant put my finger on it and its really getting to me!
Mr.Wednesday: I used a mix of a few images from the Kingdom Come series Superman and Ray Liotta. You can't see much of Ray but I used him a little bit for that older, intimidating gentleman look.
@Chrisperr - I never thought a stove could look so interesting You have done a great job of telling a story with that piece. One thing that is throwing me off at the moment is the shape of the handle. It could be the angle in the pic , but it looks really deep and, also it looks far too clean compared to the rest of the stove. Also all of the nobs are at the same orientation!

The start of a Hybrid Heaven (n64) meets BLAME! redesign that i'm not quite ready to post over in the concept jam thread.
just working on mah colouring in skills
Impala88: love everything but the toecaps on the boots, they look a bit out of place with the rest of her to me.
jramauri : beautiful, love the specular aplication on the embroidery especially.

@Lonewolf nice suggestion, that's how Autocon should do it, IMO
Reminds me of somebody else, as well.

His upper body is too long compared to the legs.

It is loads of fun
I'm going to attempt some more custom tweaked animated shader effects.

I'm working with a team on a game called Chronoshift. It's a school project but we really want to make it the best game we can.
I would like you to visit our Work In Progress page: http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/816764-Chronoshift (Sorry I have to link to an Epic Games forum, but thats where most progress is displayed).
And then fill out our survey: http://www.thesistools.com/web/?id=221812 (It will take 2 minutes)
It would mean alot to us because we really want to know what the community thinks of the game so far.
Thank you all for helping!
Projection Master is awesome!
@ Makkon: Those are awesome, I love the style.
Thumbs
Blocked it out. I just need to pose it then I'll paint over and add details.
Just been working on this bust off and on when i can.
And this is for a university game project.
having some fun

First little prop was a rocking chair. Working with 512 Maps is quite a nice texturing training
Next asset...a globe which can be reused as a table.
Looks great

Edit.
I found him! He reminds me of this guy:
Yer.. I dunno :poly122:
Damn that looks great! I would like to know too if you had any actor as a reference?
Im so sorry I am doing this "post and bail" but here is the sculpt of the day:
Nice robot, Autocon! You've got a kinder version of it - it's the concepts' not-so-evil twin or dorky brother or something:)
roughing out some ideas
Drakon: can't see your picture of the actor.
Mr.Wednesday: I used a mix of a few images from the Kingdom Come series Superman and Ray Liotta. You can't see much of Ray but I used him a little bit for that older, intimidating gentleman look.
..a stove!
