We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

Just trying to "reverse engineer" his work by completely copying it. Feckin love his stuff!
Stinger, you might want the soldiers there to give the scale reference!
Day 56 2015 - more skulls + some skin tones/color:
Latest speedpaint inspired by watching too many Chappie trailers. Maybe his distant cousin?

Ben, Sweet linework on the bunnie, I always love when lines are sharp and cut off (but with energy!)
Sweet renders as well but maybe you should avoid the charcoal look for the shading (when doing colors), (you probably already thought this) but it does makes it feel a bit dirty or I guess coaly...
The undead and the dark skinned chick are way cool.
Day 59, 60 and 61 2015:
Tablet/pad sketch on train during the weekend:
not too happy with the results, giving up for now
pls feel free to paintover if have suggestions
Thinking of changing from a penciled look to a painterly style
made the first version look a bit older
Stinger, awesome landscapes man!
DigitalSprocket: Very clean work, dude. Welcome to the forum!
Some recent stuff that I might have forgotten to post. Sorry for all the animal characters, guys. I swear I'm not a furry.
Also, here's Starfox as a retro WWII spacefaring flyboy
Makkon/Ben: As always superb, its totally fun to draw animals duuuude! Cool to see some environments from you as well, also I dig the Starfox, nice to see something a bit more finished ^^
Phongsta: Welcome, keep it up! Looking good!
Day 63 and 64 2015:
My typing hand became sore which is a definite sign to give it a rest. So late night sketches in my sketchbook. Man sketching in the night with a video playing in the background is always so enjoyable.
Day 65 2015:
Stinger: Try not using the same brush for everything, things should get more out of focus the further back they are.
Day 68 2015: study
I don't really like master studies, but I have to admit they help a lot figuring things out and approaching drawing in new manners. Here's my #3 from the 21 days:
Some process just because I like gifs:
Day 69, 70 2015:
more of this
Mario, fantastic man!
I'm painting rocks. It's very therapeutic.
Quick thing from an office sketch-group thing:
Outa town this weekend as well, lots of sketchin on paper
Daily art: 71, 72, 73, 74, 75 2015:
getting some ideas ready for class.
Anyway, there was [post=1370382]this hilarious thread[/post] that started with some school project to create a weapon (or something like that).
Among all the jokes and laughs, there were also some serious and useful comments regarding weapon design.
So at one moment I thought: Can I do this same concept, this same idea, but in a better way? Can I extract all the key elements that this guy tried to use, but in a way that looks believable?
And so I came up with this:
Thoughts?
Amazing, I'm not really into guns but the cable detail looks great imo! Btw I miss some lens flare :P
Well, it's been like a month or so since I got "serious" (doing tons of studies, reading Gurney's book, etc) with digital painting (and painting in general lol). I'm posting some of my results 'cause I really need some feedback (and also exercise suggestions, recommended reads, online material, everything is welcome ^^)
Most of these paintings are copied from photos and books and there is also a John Singer Sargent study, right now I'm doing lots of portrait, anatomy and value studies, but I know that I have a lot to improve!
Erik: keep em coming
Avanthera: he's adorable
Meet jogubogu and the blue guy is bogubogu. I dunno, maybe i should plan my sketchings a bit more.
Painting for fun ^^
