We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

Heres a weekly theme that I started on Facebook, if anyone wanna tag along feel free!
this weeks theme is: "Watcher in the dark"
Things I made on my Shield tablet and in my sketchpad during the weekend,
Days 37, 38, 39 and 40 2015:
Mech Scout
could be a "Watcher in the dark".... :P
playing around in photoshop:
Ricky: Yeah totally man! It looks cool, you should polish it up!
Hofsta: Try getting more textures into your environment, you have some soild characters on your portfolio but your environments could use some work. Try doing some studies or use refs. Also try doing some black and white composition studies using only three shades of grey.
Day 41 2015, working on my interpretation of the weekly theme "Watcher in the dark" Hopefully il be able to turn it into, and finish it as a big painting this weekend.
For now, some sketches, trying to figure out the character. I was originaly going for an owl, but I have always loved the Ibis. Also listening to The Carl Sagan series latley has put me in a strange mood, I need to get space into this one somehow
Here's todays other speedpaint. Havent done an environment for a bit....and it shows, bit rusty!
I know its a speedpaint but taking it further might be a great learning experience ^^
Thanks!
Nice environment, you should try to have the ship more saturated than the water to draw the attention to it. Or do the ship and buildings a lot darker, and add more of a Sunrise/Sundown
Another...
I think you would learn a lot from that. Oh and dont try to do an entire painting, do like one character or something
Day 42, 43 and 44 of 2015:
Here's a quick one.
Day 45:

Allan, you're nailing the nostalgia for me.
Stinger: Good skin textures, dude!
We're honing in more on the bunnies for class now. I chose to refine these two, and my self and the class liked the latter one more.
Yet another skull study (no reference used for practice, test my memory). This time using a custom brush with in Mixer brush setting. Something i've never used till now. Tons of fun, will use more often!
Wash: "A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything."
Day 48-49 lunch Study 2015.
eriknilsson: Nice likeness, love the bounce light you go going on there.
Some 20-40 min studies. Just trying to match up colors and value.
