We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

cool man. I've been actually thinking about trying something out like this myself, looks like fun, if a little more planning involved
The old Thief cinematics are so awesome:

I also recommend doing some master studies. Find an artist you like and copy some of their paintings. You will learn a lot about their technique that you then can use in your own work. These kinds of exercises can be tiresome but will really improve your drawing skill quick. I wish I had started taking my studies seriously sooner.
As far as books go there are lots of good ones but I recently got Scott Robertsons How to draw and I think its really useful. I also very much like Andrew Loomis books on anatomy. For example Figure Drawing - For All it's Worth.
Evil tree vs soldiers.
Lineart practice. As I am quite dreadful when it comes to lines.

Thanks for the tip. Taking life drawing classes at the moment. And I have Loomis' Fun With a Pencil and Figure Drawing for All It's Worth. I will admit to an embarassing near-inability to learn, but heavens if I'm not at least trying.
I will see through my list of artists that I like. Try to figure out what they do. Deconstruct their work a bit.
Played the TWD 400 days DLC a couple days ago. Really liked it!
Littlenorwegians: Its all about practise, just keep at it.
Here's a couple for the spitpaint group
I recently found Robot Pencils' tool presets and downloaded them... so I've been doodling to try them out Never even knew about tool presets before a few days ago.. my life is forever changed
Didnt have access to a computer so I drew in my neglected sketchbook
Speed paint from a few days ago
And here are some pages from my previous sketchbook
most of the figure studies and animals are from photo reference.
ARG!
thanks man. I did lines with pencil, scanned it, and then painted the different shapes (jacket, pants, shirt, skin) on separate layers so i could keep it clean.

A sprite generator. It makes a bunch of abstract pixel sprites that can be used to inspire your designs. Tried it out myself and noticed I was coming up with shapes I wouldn't do otherwise. Quite fascinating.

Here's one I did.
Wow, that cloth and mask texture! stunning! love the lighting.
Tried the thing, not sure what it is, but it's on the necklace.
