I'm pumped to start Hazardous' course so I'm trying to get back into the habit of doing sorta quick girly sculpts. So I did a rendition of a character Skyerzz made
Hi everyone. I've dicided to finish my character from comicon challenge 2011. I've returned to it many times through last three years. It changed a lot from the original design. I will post the proccess of work here.

sorry to post a gif too :poly122: but i couldnt find a good angle
The company i'm in (small indie studio called Ghalmac Games Studio ) made a prototype of a game called The Big Feed, destined for IOS/android, and I'm currently in charge of redoing all the graphic par of the game to redo it via Unity, in full 3D.
Been quite some time since I haven't done some lowpoly and texture, but still, love that stuff. Here the flat viewport WIP of one of The Big Feed creatures :
Been working on this for fun in preparation for D3's release! wanted to do something that fit the style of the game but make it a little more high poly. i think the concept is mostly done, gonna start sculpting soon.
also! thanks to betelgeist for the introduction to: rainymood.com
I think the shading on that yellow bloke would look better if you'd have the darker values nudge slightly towards a different hue, as you're already doing with some of the wood turning purple.

I think I might put up a thread for this guy today or tomorrow:

Yarr, I think so too, I put that to feel the forms and the fat of the big. Thanks for the insight
Started making shooter in Unity, and created these models for it. I need to revisit that playership, but I like those skull ships. Take those bananas you stupid skull invaders!
Well still WIP, but this is my Game Environment.
Concept by Andreas Rocha, But im not going to follow the concept exactly. Mainly using this for Texture training and trying to keep Polycount low.
Ive been working on my bioshock environment for some time now, its on the verge of justifying its own thread, but I figured id put up some teasers as thing start moving quickly. Its a take on the Little Sister's Hidey Holes which will be one of the focal points of the scene. Very similar to the original, I just wanted to make some of the shapes a little chunkier and the base a little more "grounded".
Hey guys first post here!... been lurking for awhile now but thought it was about time i got involved!!.. heres my latest sculpt.. currently working on the low poly and texture.. alot of amazing work on here!!
@dproeder personally i think that blade has a cut in it at the optimum point that if you tried to hit something with it it would snap, also the leather straps highest up the blade are right in the middle of the biggest cutting portion of the blade. it does not seem like a very practical blade tbh, i gotta admit im digging the wood handle tho
I'm working on this bird nerd character bust. It's pretty crude looking but I've been testing some feather treatments. I started with a scan of a parakeet feather. the difficult part is keeping them from clipping, which is pretty prevalent here.
Awesome stuff in here!
I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to 3D modelling/texture(i've just started),here is some of my work:
2nd try at hand-painted texturing,World of Warcraft style flag ,,holder":
And this is a simple fireplace(kind of)....not hand-painted.
@daphz: Man, this is great! In my opinion, adding some color variation will make this model even sexier
Btw, you are one of my favorite artists on PL. Keep up with the good work!:)
A modular character for a project I'm working. This is the basic equip and I added some base colors.

kalixer: Awesome work, I showed your sculpt to my Art Director to try and get some cool looking armour like that in Path of Exile.
Cross post from the thread I just started.

Now casted in Hydrocal (Sorry for the pic quality crappy phone cam):
I cleaned up the neck seam last week. I'll be refining the body today. The need to think of a surface finish.
This is not a perfect creation.

I`ll open a Sketchbook thread soon and dump all my works there , but wanted to share him with the PC Community.
1,022 tris, 1x512 diffuse with alpha for the body and the branches, 1x256 for the canopy.
This looks ace! Great work!

So much sexy in this thread lately! : D! love the robot paintforge! 4s4: loooove the colours! pics of it in action ?: D
And a texture I made for it. The diffuse is intentionally plain. Pretty basic.
