Heyo, something a bit different for me - built an iOS res AR model for the new Land Speed World Record attempt car, here's some screenshots of it in Unity;
and some wires;
Most of the engine and interior gubbins are there as well, there's an idea that future updates might let you pop out/zoom in/fly around the various engineering parts, so it's kinda future-proofed.
Here's the app, if anyone's interested - no idea what it's like as I don't have an ithing;
Torch, pretty good so far, and definitely obvious who it is. The big differences I can see would be around his nose. The bridge between his eye's should be more flat, and wider/flatter at the tip, with a bit more space between the upper lip. This pic covers it pretty well. And I'm not positive, but his neck feels a tiny bit too long.

been a while since i had time to doodle in zb! Spent a few hours sculpting and rendering/compositing this creature bust.. Twas supposed to be orcish til i went for a more flesh toned skin.
Done in ZB 4 and Photoshop.

Also did a One Piece fan art-- Roronoa Zoro from the strong world ova.
I'm gonna roll this into it's own specific thread soon, but with some tweeking etc here is where I'm at. A much better place than this morning I think.
And in case anyone hasn't seen the concept I'm working from, here it is. I'm too late to try at the arenanet internship I believe, but I'm going to do it anyways because the concept is really cool.
That looks really nice and clean bake but... 6k+ tris for one side of the busstop? That seems like a lot of polygons o_O
Yeah I agree looks really nice, can't wait too see it finished however I agree about the polycount. It looks like you've modeled almost everything from the high poly model instead of letting the normal map do the work.

After leaving the game mod zone for quite a while, I'm trying to come back and use the new techniques that those modern engines allow.
So I'm starting a little personal mod based on the Resident Evil mansion (I know it's been done a gazillion times, but I want MINE )
So here's some previews and early WIPs as well as a first integration into UDK. I'm working onto further detailing and optimization at the moment, and some elements have been unwrapped.

A quick half hour at lunch, used some earlier thumbs as a base.
added tongue and the inside of the mouth.
gonna give him a slightly different eye color and some hair, styled like brad pitt in killing them softly..
let´s see how this turns out.
