Haven´t posted this so far.
Nothing too fancy, just another anatomy study. I gained enough XP here and I need the skill points. My older anatomy models really sucked...
Jordan, looking forward to seeing this trooper unfold. Keep it up man!
Manuel, you owe me a new keyboard man, from all the drooling I had to do over Airborn
Gannon, looking good, man. Have to agree with katzeimsack, though. I think you just play with light direction and values it might get well better. Also a more dramatic sky would make it look more awesome
Decided to take a whirl at making my first ever gun, the top half of the model is pretty complete. Although I now realize that I have no idea how a gun functions, or what most of the doodads on the thing do...
Also got the marmoset 30 day trial, I'm impressed with what I see.
I'm proud how this turned out (even though i could probably do it better now).
I learned alot.
* Zbrush (love it, second time use)
* Bake with xnormal (turned out good on the first try)
* use photoshop to hand paint and photosource, never done either.
I hope you like it! Hopefully doing textures, would stop my fear from unfinished modells. The texturing part is the reason why i never finish things.
played with the PARALLAX MAPPING in Udk . fun!! yay
...so, this is the first time I've ever posted on Polycount! I'm gonna start the new year off by hopefully finishing this character in 3D. Here's the concept I've got goin' so far.

my advice would be to not start out by trying to do a full creature every day... when you are learning it can help immensely to take your time. Don't worry about speed yet, work on quality, speed comes with experience.

Crits and comments more than welcome and highly appreciated!
This is looking fantastic, a bit more work on the focal point and fading out the window to bring your eye down to the organ.

Turtle for a school project
Boosted the saturation and intensity of the lights in the scene, hoping to bring some more atmosphere and better guide the eye.
I love you and hate you at the same time.
Fat job man
