Hey guys, here is my first proyect that I think is able to show. And well I am following this forum every day, Awesome stuff always, hope this is good enoght.
Found an old character concept whilst digging through files. I thought, why not Mudbox? So I started with the heroic female basemesh posted by one of the users on here (if you know what thread that was please link it to me as I've lost it and can't give proper credit) and edited the head to have more of that anime look before starting.
...Struggle busing the whole way. Especially on making puffy sleeves.
I've started building a simple little environment for my telescope to live in. Very much got a point and click adventure game in mind for the layout. I still need to give the poor astronomer a tent or a little shack, plus some books and other props. But foliage is first on the list for now.

I like your gun, but I definitely feel like it could use some more finesse, especially in terms of the texture. It seems like you put too much effort into modeling the gun to have it be let down by a quick texture job.

@BelgianBoolean - I love the look of these pieces. The little renders at the bottom turned out really nice, and make me hope for an even bigger scene in the end The damage pass doesn't seem overly convincing to me, though - it feels a little uniform in that areas that would receive a lot less damage (the top, for example) have the same type and density of damage as the areas that are more in harm's way. I would envision most of the damage to be surface scratches with the odd dent or ding near the bottom...
@TheMachine - great stuff, good geometry @jackalope - I think it's just about done. Good lighting. Maybe you could put in some gold/yellow height fog to add to atmosphere and look closer to concept.
Finally! I finished my M1A1 Abrams tank model, its been a hell of a work but its completely worthy, If I normaly enjoy my work this time was epic fun.
About the work, heres a couple of renders from 3DsMax, 2048×2048 textures and Its rigged. Im gonna try sell it for Unity Engine at the Unity Asset Store.
