ngs616 - that scene really doesn't hold up well. It's a very noisy environment with very little to guide the player or the eye around. You definitely need to work on your lighting a lot more.
By comparison, these two screenshots; Dead Space and UT3, I think; have much better guidance, and some clear primary (red) and secondary (purple) focal points:
@Ravenslayer Holy crap that's looking much improved from before and it already looked great.
@Frogfish Really like the realism in the folds of the body and the way the skin falls, face looks slightly out of place though I guess it doesn't seem as old as the body to me, shouldn't matter when she's clothed though.
@Ravenslayer : Wow ! She looks beautiful. Great work here
@Frogfish : Love to see different female body than the average idealized one ! You may want to pay attention to the shoulder blades, it seems its a little bit off
Almost done with the sculpt of this frog ... rendered with ZBrush BPR :
Thank you Snader. The lighting was very rushed on that. Im still not finished with the full level. Lighting is definitely one of my weaker areas though.
I don't see why it can't be noisy... if that is the way things are.. then?
There are many more areas throughout the level that are much calmer.. like this:
Thought I'd try to retopoligize a recent speed sculpt last night. Never used Topogun before, but it was a fun little experience. Screenshot is from Unity with a simple skin shader.
dpeteuil - Nice!
ngs616 - Arent those a tad too many colors and too many details at the same time?
JFletcher - Thats one sweet looking girl! Looks a bit like the one from Game of Thrones. Like it!
My sister is getting married next month, so I decided to make a game for her as a wedding present.
Will see if I've the time to finish the game, but I'm going to try...
So here are the main characters.

AimBiZ : well they do look like they could be distant cousins of the characters from ilomilo, but I really don't care. It wasn't my intention to copy ilomilo. I'm happy with my design.
Hi guys so i just graduated and i am currently looking for work. I don't post for a long time mainly because i have been focusing on getting my portfolio finished and since i just finished it 2 days ago i thought i would post my most recent piece here.all around the character is about 13k triangles and its using a single 1024 map i hope you guys like it! critiques and comments are appreciated!

i have more images of the high res and low poly meshes in my website you guys can check it out the website is on my profile
Azkur: Wow, that's some shiny flesh. Really good work there. Maybe reduce the glossiness a notch to get rid of any detail noise. Best of luck with the job hunting. When will we be able to see the rest of your portfolio?
Lovely Texture but i think you should have used those extra polys, the circular top and the corner of the large white piece seem too low poly, they could use the polys for the shape.
Its CryEngine3
Ive been playing alot with the colorbalancing and contrasting in the scene and pushing the black harder might be a bit overkill (as i still want to keep some of the middle gray stuff aswell), though i will definately try it to see what results it yeilds.

didn't post much lately, too many overhours recently...
but I finally started texturing the insides of my corner shop, totally unnecessary but I'd love to have that extra bit of detail

Damn that's nice. I love how realistic her small imperfections are. Really great and has the right weight and feel.
Here a little personal mini speed fast small challenge that I'm doing !!!
I started last week with concept : http://lucashug.blogspot.ca/2012/06/quick-scene-personnal-challenge-piece.html

And I know, it's not really fast but in the meantime I have to save the world from Diablo!!! And it take me a lots of time XDXDXD

Looks like the Judge's female counterpart from Pink Floyd's the wall. Just needs two ass cheeks for the top of the head.
I started this cap many years ago, before zbrush. Decided to go back and tweak it a bit. Here is my base mesh in zbrush ready to be worked over.
My little Scifi asset.. Highpoly WIP..
Hope to wrap this up by this Sunday so I can get back to my full scene project.
I REALLY like that tree. I've been searching for a style of tree to go for and I think I just found it:poly142:
I put together a few facial expressions of Ormon;
