I put this together around 5 in the morning. So basicly i ran out of time for finishing touches and im not that exited about the outcome.
I might render this again later, we shall see.. But hey, at least this inspired me to do some Trine 2 level-fanart when i have time!
Hey Guys here is a little something I have been working on and off on while I have been working on my level. It is the upgrade capsule from Megaman x =D
I'm sure you posted this exact same image before a while ago...
Thought the exact same thing aha, double checked i was on the right page ;')
Reinstalled Max 2012 and all the bugs are gone ~whoo I think it may have been 2010 causing registry errors or something, stripped everything clean of autodesk gear and fresh installed. Everything is nice and dandy again.
Anyway Mecha!
Working up it's leg, slowly blocking a nice curve. Made the foot with a bit of articulation so it can take a impact/land/jump properly. I'm going to try to make a half decent animation rig for this one to show it off
Sick work Tits, i like those tribal girls!! Whats the funny defined line near the belly button though ?? Its almost like the belly button will explode and an alien will come out !!
here's a lil animation thing i did. It's an idle cycle for my goblin dude. My rigging/animation stuff is super rusty tho. What do you guys think?
Cool model man. I don't think it loops well, it seems to be more of an alert/waking up phase animation rather than an idle. Try and get a stance going on where he looks ready to fight, chest moving to indicate breathing. Some occasional subtle head movement too, looking around.

Middle Part of a flyingIsland/City
just started the layout today, first time really using the tod editor haven't quite figured everything out, so please excuse the over exposure :poly124:
A dirty crosspost from my work thread. Only because i could really do with some help with the direction of this piece (It's based on a great concept piece from fellow polycounter, razorb). Please help me Polycounters.
Done with this material, would like some critic. The texture is 1024 in scene. Baked highpoly for normalmap.:poly131:
I think the diffuse map could have a teeny weeny bit more contrast.
And maybe add a hint of that brown color from the crevices to the ornaments as well?
But overall ,looks cool!

Like this so much!

Here's a quick skull sketch:
Just a little texture study. The next project will be a bit more interesting. :P
Progress been slow?
The human is a standard zb-asset - just there for scale.Currently adding resolution to him so I can add wrinkles and skin detail.

Very nice! An associate and I have been doing something somewhat inspired by ITSW some time ago:
Reminds me of Doctor Naomi from No More Heroes. Was this inspired by her?
EDIT: Nevermind! I see it's based off a pre-existing character! I wonder if the comic author was inspired by her though?
Edit; This cant stay on the bottom of the other page~

Mixamo now does rigging for free. Try it out, it's great for non-animator people that want to animate.

I got the same impression as MrNinjutsu. It looks like he was idle, then becomes alert - where the body animation stops and the head suddenly raises.
Very cool, just perhaps not idle

Koala fur has an interesting weave, not sure it reads right though.
Haven't addressed fixing the hands and feet yet.
