Today i'm working on trying to motivate myself to find a job position for a junior artist in england after I got an email earlier telling me i was unsuccessful with my 2nd interview.
Sorry if I´m posting too often, just have alot of time on my hands now that I have graduated anyways here is the WIP sculpt for my cannons barrel, let me know what you think!

@ beats - awesome character, the hand-painted textures look great, especially on the bow.
@ duncan - I love the proportions on that kid, and for some reason, I really like his teeth xD

Tacit, those are looking better and better. I'm inspired to try something like it. Is the ink 100% shader? There's some stuff I don't quite get, like the heavy areas around the shoulderpads of the big guy with the gun. (i'd guess texture, but the lines are so consistent!)

I finally finished my ecorche. Pain in the ass doing every muscle and bone, but oh man was it worth it. Going this in depth made me realize how many wrong assumptions I've previously made about anatomy.
It's definitely not final yet, obviously. It's a Kel-Tec PLR19. I'm currently having some trouble trying to flow the trigger guard into the pistol grip, as you can see here in one of my reference pictures. I could surely use some CC...
I wanted to make it high-poly originally for normal maps. I have no idea how to make it high-poly from here though; I know about Turbosmoothing but that gives so many undesired results I'm trying to refrain from using it as much as I can.

Gonna take a breather on the Spacemarine guy, cause i've kinda come to a place where i'm just noodling with the sculpt, gotta get some perspective on the project by doing some other stuff in the meantime, but here's a render of where i got so far(looking at this there's million of things i think i'd change, like the weird boob-plate etc) but here it is... Oh and c&c welcome as always!
Tyler: Careful with those tattoos and their placement. I`m a noob at rigging, but it seems like texture stretch on shoulders is unavoidable. using tattoos like you have, might result in some unwanted stretch funk that would otherwise be unnoticeable if it was just skin.. Which sucks because shoulder tattoos are the COOLEST. :P can anyone else shed light on this?
