I've bitten the bullet and started again due to not being able to select michael or trevor after you do the plane sniper mission. Not too happy about losing all that I'd done (F didn't have any more story or side missions left) but want to see what happens with the story.... Already got T to LS and done a couple of missions with him.
Jesus christ, the online part of the game pisses me off like nothing else. If I join a Race session I don't want to play anything but races until I specifically say so. Also there should be a way to customize what kind of races you join, fuck knows what I'll end up playing with this current system. In some race modes you don't even get to drive the car.
And Catch up is retarded. Typical casual console scrub mechanic for 12 year olds.
I picked the high rise apartment near Del Perro, it was only $205,000. I have a $20 Playstation gift card sitting around, if they ever open up the cash shop again I'll splurge on it, I've gotten more than $20 worth of entertainment out of online.
I like mine.. it has a telescope, and i can look towards the ocean. So its cool. Plus the garage is a whole lot bigger than the previous one i had. Now i just need munny to pay for nice cars.

I've managed to finally complete the single player story missions- selected option C and thoroughly enjoyed it
I've got my 500k today too but going to hang fire with buying anything until I see what happens with the heist game mode in case that money becomes mighty handy.
Keep getting my arse handed to me on a plate in race mode though, doesn't help I'm level 7! time to level up methinks!
Got to say it was nice to see some of my old workmates at R* Leeds in the credits and seeing a few of them either moving up to North or have had promotions- did get a few yearnings for my old job but life goes on!
Did anyone at all select either of the other options? I'm kind of interested to hear how they play out and what the repercussions are in the post campaign game are.
Man i hope they don't screw the PC Version up as they did with GTA IV. But loving what i see so far. Gonna be a day 1 purchase (if i can get my hands on a 970 GTX until then). Especially the Online mode. Having watched XpertThief's Let's plays ...let's say it looks like mayhem.

Just saw the Story Trailer of Far cry 4 and it looks awesome and i really liked far Cry 3 and if it's just FC3 bigger better and wider with more storyin the himalaya it's alright with me...still though...do they really want to go toe to toe with one of the most iconic Gaming Franchises ever (it got the same release Date as GTA V on PS4 and XO).
//Edit: eventhough: yeah they have set their Release Date a lot earlier than GTA V...but GTA V is a reason to delay your game^^.
I've been wanting to play GTA in first person since GTA 3. For some reason I totally thought that first person was just going to be for while you were driving cars. I was so excited about the dash board view, but this is like...double Christmas?

Just praying they are working harder on fighting hackers which seems to be a major problem on PS3 atleast. Also hope the MP on PC won't die off right out the gate.
Shit is hitting the fan? a bit less than a week and rockstar is keeping the info and footage on a downlow...and now someone is streaming the PS4 version on twitch (go to neogaf to get the Twitch link) from croatia claiming to have a FC4 version as well.

It's quite hard to buy games nowadays, some game companies act worse than politicians. They just sell vaporware and too many lies and fake screenshots/graphical downgrades.
I don't understand why they don't want early reviews on the press. Embargo reviews are bad in all the senses, at the end all is shady. As a consumer, i'm not going to buy this game. And sorry for the friend that works at Rockstar UK.
It would be a shame to need a ENB for this GTA. Graphically, i don't see a "next gen game", just another port that will be BAD, surely.

Went pretty fast for me o_O and i still could not get what i wanted. lol
I couldn't resist picking up a fancy apartment, I only really wanted a 10 car garage but I wanted the apartment for the heist planning room.
thought i could get a nice car... but those were over a mill...i guess i am victim of instant reward.
i literally don't know what to spend this 500k on haha! it'll just sit there until i find something, or until BAWSAQ goes live.
I splurged a bit on one of the 300k apartments because they have much nicer views than some of the others. Totally worth it?

you can go back and choose either of the other options in the menu and play through them yourself if you're curious. one of them is pretty brutal.

Max Payne 3 port was excellent, so there's hope.
