hahah the same reaction to the 1st joker pic, people getting all bitch blah blah blah. I love how everyone hates on something after it comes out and everyone loves it then suddenly it becomes over rated and cool to hate on. that and forming an opinion on movies when only scraps of info are available . im waiting until i am acutally watching the credits roll to love or condemn it.
after seeing tom hardy in bronson i think he will be awesome as bane.
That's because a large percentage of people in this world are not too sharp, I'm afraid. This is the first image released of the joker;
Completely different character to the character that ended up in the film. In control, confident, chin out, possibly originally some low level gangster from Falconis crew, maybe not even insane, maybe he's just f***cked up and is wearing the makeup to make a point about how crazy it is that theres a dude in Gotham dressing up as a bat and fighting crime. Picture says a thousand words. In other words, a re-interpretation of the character, like Nolan did with the Scarecrow in Batman Begins, which made the character far more interesting and grounded him in a more realistic setting. And no f***ing retarded lip-licking!
I was very very excited by this pic. It suggested it was going to be an even darker film the Batman Begins, which it should have been, cause the Joker is pretty messed up. But then... well, we got what we got. It was fine. As good as Nicholson's performance. But unfortunately, young people these days are extremely prone to complete hysteria and sheepery, and the fact that Ledger died shortly after the filming only added fuel to the media fire. It's hard to deny that the film had too many pretty glaring plot holes. Don't even get me started on Two-Face
[/fanboyish ranting wall of text]
I wonder if Tom Hardy hit the gym for this, he ain't overly big in that pic, and I think it would be great if he had, saves embarrasing prosthesis/CGI. Mind you, the skin doesn't look too real to me, and theres sommat weird going on at his neck, the folds are crazy looking. I think its teasing too much, IMO they should have shown a front shot with the whole mask at least. Unless he's got some holes in his front for the bane-juice...
Hmm looks like he has those weird skinny folds in that pic of him as bronson too. Hope he manages to get slightly bigger than that though. Even Bale was bigger for Batman Begins (and super skinny and dorky for The Dark Knight)
More fantasy shite that doesn't really fit into what was layed out with Batman Begins... but these are all rumours still of course. Pity Marion Cottilard's part is said to be small, she a foxy layde.
What did everyone think of the trailer that was before Harry Potter? I liked it. Setting myself to be again though They could have shown more of a Bane/Batman fight, but Im sure there'll be plenty of that to come
As a big fan of what Nolan has done with these movies, I hope that this doesn't turn into a giant cluster of shallow characters vying for screen-time.
Not saying that this will, but the first two movies I would say each had 1 discernible primary villian, with a secondary villian/glorified henchman of the primary, and then the cast of supporting characters which have remained consistent through the series.
This trailer, and granted that's all it is, is showing three brand new central characters which will all have to be freshly introduced. So assuming that this film won't run 150 % in length as the first two, it will be interesting to see how character development is handled.
But I am really looking forward to this. In Nolan I trust.
Yeah I trust Nolan for sure, I've enjoyed all of his movies. As you said about the 3 new characters, I'm still concerned it might suffer the fate of Spiderman3 and the too many baddies syndrome. Only time will tell, but I'll keep upbeat about it
This is different to the one that I saw in the theater, the one I saw was much longer and had footage from the film. Lol at people clapping like retarded seals at nothing though... the hype machine starts here.
What I dont know is why WB is being so anal about this. They have to have several guys on this 24/7, requesting the deletion of links. Surely it cant be because they want more people to go see HP. Everyone is going to go see that anyway. Just release the trailer already FFS!
Looks like the guy in the back is like getting hung or something.
Aye! I thought the person was aiming, but it looks more like they're grasping at their throat. Hopefully its Anne Hathaway, and it turns out she dies in the first five minutes of the movie.
I hope thats a shot of Selina Kyle the thief, pre-catwoman. It doesn't look catwoman. But I have never been let down by Nolan and have full trust in him.
Agreed, and whats worse is that twat Anne Hathaway is playing her. But its happening, better make the best of it. At least there are no cat ears.
Nolan loves releasing curious shots, like catwoman on the batpod. He did it in The Dark knight, some of the first released were shots of Scarecrow tied up in the parking lot... I was surprised to even see him in the sequel.
For real. The first shots of bane in full costume had him standing on top of what looks like the Batmobile with the original paint-job from the first movie. Granted those photos weren't part of an official release, but..

uhhh. too late? Anne Hathaway is playing her....

and this is his physique from Bronson, apparently he was doing 2500 pushups a day to achieve this beefcake.
or probably just benching for sets of 8

Uh oh... just say no to definitive statements!

Where? Cant find it on youtube, or torrent sites!
Robat, Joshua, that is a FAKE trailer guys... who would put Robin Williams in a Nolan Batman film, seriously
Thought that was obvious from the footage spliced from DK 1, 2, and Robin Williams in Insomnia.
Also when hathaway goes to hug, the actor is NOT Christian Bale.
Haha, gotcha. Well, never-mind then!

That was a pain in the ass to find.
this was sent out across town the other day.... I plan on photobombing every scene now

"Derek, get out of the shot!"
No but serious, wonder who that is in the back.
My ideas (Probably all wrong)
- Henchman
- Robin
- Riddler
Who knows lol.

ugh. might as well give it to uwe boll
Thank god for that. This isn't a Joel Schumaker/Tim Burton Batman.
