Started a few treasures and trinkets for my environment. Also took some time to get to know the Xoliu shader a little better. Turns out there was alot i didn't know about it!
High Poly & Low Poly Lantern
There are some dodgy bits in the AO where I used some floating geometry but pretty happy with it. Still need to learn to avoid sharp edges in my high poly.
-Cool swizzle!
-Fat cap, yeeeea he looks awesome. Cant wait to see the whole lot. Shame you baked stuff onto the chest, but I guess that will only be noticeable on close-ups. Keep it up!
Hey guys, this is my first post here. I've just started learning zbrush, and have started making a character to further my skills. The colours are off at the moment, since it's easier to work with. A rough sketch of the character is included to show what I'm working towards
Whoa, loving all the cartoony 3D on this page! And nice concepts, Fabio B
I bring a bad girl/nice girl take on the same character-
Seriously, this needs to be quoted to show up again! Beautiful work, Snowfly. I love the take on each side of this character. Hope you show more stuff soon!!
I'm doing a Disney/Pixar styled character. I got inspired by the movie, Tangled.
Got the body base modeled, but not sure what do to with her next. I mean fairytale princesses have been done alot, so I want to try something a bit different.
Nothing compared to folks like Snowfly's wickedness, but I did some more fleshing out of the idea started here.
Still got a good ways to go.
I'm loving it already! Are you going to add color, or keep it black and white? This would rock if you were to keep it b&w with some bright slabs of red!
I've overdone the wrinkles intentionally for now so that I could see the major shapes easier (I'm still a bit of a noob, so I find it easier when sculpting to do overexaggerate details and then tone them down so that I can get the major shapes correct). I'm about to tone them down a substantial amount very soon, as well as add in minor details into the folds. Thanks heaps for the critique though, I'm always after crits on my work.
Hey guys! I finished my entry for the 3d Creature Planets on cghub(Classic Movie Monsters). So here is my Creature from the Black Lagoon (max, xoliul shader 1.6, low+normal+diffuse+specular):

Some work in progress, trying to work on my Sub-D modeling:
Yeah, I dunno either...
I'll be hand painting the texture.

I'm gonna clean the shit out of you!
Haha, I thought that said dyson too!

Oh man.. great concept! I love it!! I can picture the dyson guy with the accent explaining how that thing works.
Still got a good ways to go.

Just start over a new mesh 'cause this basemesh i way too detailed...
WIP shots of Finn the Human from Adventure Time, still have to make his backpack and I plan on making Jake too.
I'd really like some feedback on my topology, especially ways to make it lower poly, it's about 1000 tris at the moment.
Dude, that is hawt!

So I'll be adding a billboard behind the tractor that I think will add some depth to the piece.

Here is a Spanish arquebusier that I am working on:
