somthing that uses a kind of root system to teleport players maybe? fast building but players can be hurt while teleporting if a pyro knows where the roots are and the teleport takes longer time?

Perhaps for the building animations, it could be a mechanical bud which slowly blooms into the flower, and as it gets a higher level, the flower matures further with more petals, some stigma(those little things that stick up in the center) and other flourishes.
Hey pyanodon and Dr. Eggman, I've been lurking around the forums since the start of the Polycount update, but your incredible pack motivated me to register and compliment it. I think the Lucy Charm alone is incredibly well modeled and animated (as is the Beespencer), and after all you've made (Guard Dog and fake Engineer updates, and now this), I'm very disappointed that Lucy Charm hasn't been picked up by Valve. Hell, you're both probably good enough to be hired, and it sucks that they don't seem to recognize that.

And now some Bee Dispenser ones. I assumed there would be a defense mechanism (like bee bots or an area around the dispenser where enemies take damage) but can change them. I also just put 'Bee Dispenser' as the name, although there isn't really a definite name for the Dispenser right now.

Like people here suggested, it was based on a lotus with some machinery from sigma engines and anemometers. Also...the teleporter we're making will have different models from entrance and exit... I think it's a good thing since people need to point to the teleporter to know if it's an entrance or not. With the new models, we can see it better. This is the entrance. The exit will have another kind of stuff instead the wind-thing.

haha. thats awesome. but when looking at those (no idea what theyre called) flowerly things on the sides i got the idea for a maybe possible stat for it. it has slower recharge or build time. but instead, those things on the edge cuts enemies if they walk on it and it dont give away much glow
Can't wait to see what you do with the animations on this baby. Looks cool. Maybe it could recharge faster if near a Bee Dispenser? Since bees help flowers pollinate! Maybe that would be the Bee Dispenser's thing: it repairs/reloads/charges teleports that it is near.

Hummm i dunno, it's look like the Repair Node main idea which Valve discarted.
looking pretty cool, just one thing tho.. i immediatly thought the building was damaged due to the fire=p
YUp...THere's small things we are working on to fix. Leave only the smoke, make it more spread and dissapear more early and fix the low-res texturing in the model.
OK people, we need a plugin to make the dispenser screen works in the game, so...very few servers will have that (but, if valve implement it, there's not a problem for them).
But we love you and to release the beespenser as a skin, we worked over and the screen will look like damaged instead the default screen. We know it isnt as cool as the working screen, but it's Valve's work. We cant make it work without a server running a plugin. Texture quality fixed in game! Soon a preview

Wow Pyano, I'm glad you decided to add some bees around it. How do they look animated? I know you'll show us a video soon.
Well..let´s see. Dr Eggman is working a lot over the mini-bees. I finished the models, textures and animations, it´s his job try to put it all working together. Let´s cross the fingers!

that was what i meant. you dont have manny plants which has big enough root systems so my idea is either a tree or a giant fungi
