Hello! My name is Brian Mumphrey and I am currently working on my 2d portfolio for concept game design as well as learning 3d for the first time. I look forward to posting and receiving advise on how to become a better designer.
Guess I should have read the message before trying to post on the forums...
Ended up writing a big post for nothing.
Anyways, Hi.
Now will you let me do what I'm here to do? :poly117:
Hello. My name is KC, and I'm currently working on my portfolio for environment/concept art, trying to both improve my work and build myself back up. Looking forward to being part of the community.
Been working as a mobile games animator for a while (animated the Age of Monsters games) and I'm now expanding to other platforms. Looking to share advice and get inspired.
I'm an aspiring game design novice with basic experience in UDK, Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Mudbox, and Java. I'm currently in a Master's program at Purdue University and want to spend my next year familiarizing myself with everything I'm currently lacking (mostly C/C++, but a little bit of everything) before I enter the industry.
I'm in desperate need of an official portfolio, so my aim in joining Polycount is to have a real motivation to produce new sketches, models, animations, effects, and maps! Please feel free to contact me, I hope to get to know everyone in my quest for knowledge and experience.
-Don
*By the way, how does one go about creating one of those stellar portfolio pages online? If you have one or know an easy way to get one, please send me a tip via mail/message. Thanks!
Hello, Polycountforum!
Im a student of a german Gamedesigncollege.
But unfortunately i feel the education level at my university is not suitable
for the cg industry ( its expensive although).
So i need some serious knowledge in Zbrush.
Clever way of making everyone read the important things! I hope I'll manage to get properly engaged to this site, I focus mostly 2D art but got the basic knowledge of 3D in order to attempt to evolve that here.
Hi, my name is Ant, I'm currently a grad student at FIEA in Orlando and I'm a tech artist. I come to this website quite often and figured it was about time I joined.
