I've been lurking on here for about a month now, getting a feel for the community and I've got to say, there's some outstanding work on here!
To summarise myself, I'm an Englishman new to 3D and looking to progress.
I'm still not entirely sure where I should post progress; WAYWO, Pimping and Previews or Sketchbooks - suggestions welcome.
So hello once again, thank you for having me and keep up the good work.
PS (I may have accidentally posted hello already with my sausage fingers)
Hello, I am a new member and looking forward to contributing to this site. I want to become more proficient with my 3D modeling skills and look forward to receiving feedback on things that I post.
I'm still not entirely sure where I should post progress; WAYWO, Pimping and Previews or Sketchbooks - suggestions welcome.
Welcome aboard!
I'll try to shed some light on this:
WAYWO is a place to show off, well, what you are working on. It isn't really a place to search for in depth feedback or critique and posting a huge flood of images is usually frowned upon.
making a thread in Pimping & Previews: Usually this is where you would post your progress on a single project and get in depth feedback and discussion.
sketchbooks: just a place to post any artwork you feel like posting, like a digital sketchbook.

Hello Polycounters
I'm a media designer doing mostly print flyers with adobe cs at the agency I work at, but am interested in learning the ways of 3D modeling. I already had the chance to learn the basics of cinema 4d at work, but can't use it regulary because it is only needed very rarely. I came here via dota 2 and would love to be able to create items for the shop in 1-2 years.
See you around

I'll get a sketchbook setup either way (I've got a plan for that) and will aim to get my current project on P&P soon.
