hey really nice Jasp ! You seems to have a nice workflow using Zbrush from A to Z right? Can I ask you what kind of technic did you use for the last step? Is it just polypainting? Photo texturing using Zapplink or Imageplane plugin?
yep, that's what i did for this one. Well i actually started by just painting inside zbrush, but then used Zapplink to see how it looked with photos projected on it.
little less than "speed" but was about an hour or two learning the tools and what i liked to use. Still feel like i have two left feet and no thumbs with this program though... but i am getting a better grasp of it I admit the back of the head is a bit of a clusterblob and the mouth sucks... but whatever, just learning how to use the tools!
so much to learn!
i couldnt figure out how to put an eye ball in there without drawing the mesh like 100 times over and over... so i decided id read a bit about subtools and figure it out for something else if anyone has any suggestions, im all ears.
Sweet Spinks...i like the second picture. One thing though...u got a bit lazy with the ears on the first picture, but anything than that...ur a rockstar man!
yeah i gotta agree with coldhands Spinks, the boxer ears aren't really my thing either, unless you really try to achieve that look, it would be nice to see a really cool sculpt of boxers ears!
Second one seems a bit random with the patters on it, although the lips are really awesome and whats under the chin!
And btw, how did u achive such nice skintones on the first one? Really nice!
Awesome work so far, looking forward to see more!
Did this a few days ago in about 3 hours. Was originally going to go all the way from fetus to 100-something years old to rotten skeleton, but moved onto other things before finishing up this range of heads.
Hey guys had to get in on the thread so much coolness in here.
This character came to me after i got the term Ampullae of lorenzini stuck in my head... dont ask why..( thats a sharks extrasensory organs btw) and i started thinking what if Lorenzini was a mad scientist who made mutant sharks...why not. not too harsh plz only done like 2 zsphere sculpts

i roughly polypainted the model from my previous post and baked the whole thing.
From xNormal viewer:
(killingpeople: no ball bag for you this time )
Renaud > hey, you're right...probably a reminiscence of his "high priest". I guess it's not as good though : )
not really a speed (~4h30),i started it at work today (yeah, well, we don't have much to do these days) and wanted to push it a little further.
Thx ^^

Inspired by the illustrated version of Poe's Roderick Usher character, by Gris Grimmly:
My toss in for the day.
i had to stop anyway, i'm starting to feel a numbness in my little finger again... carpal tunnel, yay !
I got dicking around with utensils with faces and came up with an accidentally heartfelt birth of a spork?
funky is there any possibility you can make a higher rez of this? I totally want this to be my new wall paper
crits most welcome!
