Thought I'd give this sculptris business another go. Didn't like the older alphas due to being very sluggish, but I'm loving this one!
About 2h in total I guess.
Yesss, your style is so right!
Really liking the profile view the most, those little cheek puffs outside of the mouth...classic!
As a beginner to sculpting, it was my dream to sculpt breasts.
This is my first sculpt of a human head I've done, I need to work on my human designs so I'm going to start doing a lot more studies like this; roughly 2-3 hours.
It's of the wrestler CM Punk. Here's the gallery of images I used for reference
Thanks maph! Seriously tempted to go back to him and tune him up into a full quality sculpt, antlers would be the first thing to get some love. Meanwhile, another sketch to get used to sculptris.
Edit: One more before work today, still loving sculptris.
Wow Renaud, I am always humbled and inspired by your work, even if it is speed sculpts! Could you give me an idea of your workflow? Perhaps what brushes you use most, what your basemesh is and that sort of thing? Thanks for sharing your work for us all to see!
I set out to learn sculpting again and made a base mesh and put into sculptris (I don't think sculptris likes base meshes though?) and then this was just more fun:
That is what I am working at this moment
I am not too worried at making exactly like the concept, I am more worried at this stage in get some nice curves from him and a good proportion.
Renaud: Gorgeous work as always! KrisCrash: It's very rough, but I love the feel of that! Make it better! fabio brasilien: Hah! He's cool. I'd make him slightly fatter though.
Dracula: The first things that pops in my eyes are:
-ears: looks very wrong...
-neck: check some muscles chart, they are a bit wrong
-head: could be bigger
-beside the midle of his nose, the face looks nice for me. (it looks like you spend most of the time there...hehe)
I hope that helps.
daphz: nice style!
Make sure upper and lower eyelids wrap around an eyeball. I would move the inside corner of the eye in a little bit. Also, check your eyelids placement from below and above, there should be a slight curve from those views.

Please let me know what you think.
Ha! Loving this guy, but I'd rework the antlers a bit more, they seem a bit too rushed and "pasted on", just needs a little bit 'o luvin'.

So much awesome on here. Gonna start contributing the best I can.
@razorbladder - I like the style; i''d push his jawline back closer to the ears though
testing out a basemesh
(oh and I'm a damn dirty copy cat - the sword concept is Paul Richards' ^_^)
Steve Carell was right! If you don't use it! You lose it!
