So I decided that the last lion head I did really was just awful, so i took a stab at the assignment again a few days later. Not really a "speed painting" in polycount definition, but did this little sculpt in about 3 hours? Really proud of myself and the advance I made between both assignments. I'm definitely not the best sculptor ever, but I'm proud of it
pardon the interruption...concept sculpt for a robot, needs retop for sure, dunno how i feel about the feets...coments and crits most welcome, i am very new to bot design. and yes i refrenced some ideas from Taehoons awesome dw2 piece as well as Zone of the Enders concepts.
thanks for the kind words guys, here's my latest 3
@dansher you can do both, import an existing model, or make one from scratch with zspheres, zbrush also has some basic primitive shapes you can load up and sculpt on.

Had a couple hours free earlier today, sketched some random monster in Zbrush (was initially inspired by some sketch from Paul Richars, but it looks nothing like the original anymore). Nothing fancy, need to work more with Zbrush...
I had ago at sculptris for an hour this evening, I do like its auto subd on where ever your working or what ever it does lol. But it still feels mega primitive compared to zbrush
You can see that the eyelids are going over the whole eye.
Hope you did understand what I mean
p.s. and again sorry for my bad english.
Yeah man, I totally agree. I don't know why I did it that way, looking at it again it looks awful. Did a quick update, I think it looks a lot better. Still taking crits though, so bring it on.

and if you look even closer you'll notice that the eyelashes cover the part of the lower eyelid and that the upper eyelid doesn't cover the eye by 100%

That would be the third thing I've ever sculpted digitally.
Incidentally, Freud was born last week in eighteen fifty sex.

Did this one today. Haven't done any sculpting in ages, so I figured I'd get some practise done in Sculptris.

But damn its an awesome freebee!
Another practice sculpt, trying to recreate what I see in your guys's beautiful models!
Took me about 45 mins to make this fella here
I'm not happy with the eyes though, but I can't quite point out what's wrong, so crits are definitely welcome.

Just a Goblinoid head I've been playing around with. It definately needs a lot of refinement but I'm liking the starting results.

very nice design sense, beautiful.
