achillesian dont take me wrong, I dont want to be rude, but that chest does not look right, and 30 min time period is no excuse for it. Get back to work , and make it more accurate, spend as much time as it is needed, do it once but do it good, insted of doing many speeds. Good luck, and please dont be mad
edit: ok now I realized this is speed thread, not "what are you working on" thread, soo I made mistake but still think about some more time consuming sculpts, you will analize more, and remember more for sure
woogity: cool little critter
okno: good start , maybe go a little higher so you can define the shapes better and make sure the ears arnt embedded in the head to much
achillesian: in reference to your signature - That doesn't mean you shouldn't try to get at least a little bit closer.
I realise this is the speed model thread, but a bit more effort would've gone a long way toward making this look less rushed and blobby.
Jaco: very nice definition of the planes. Overall, the bottom half of his face look very long, though. I think if you'd scale that down a bit vertically, it could look a lot better. Ofcourse, maybe that's what you're going for, but then I'd make an effort to exxagerate it more for emphasis.
I was "trying" to make a full face, but i fail in muscle studies. It took some hours and 3 retry to get something vaguely human. I did 3 alien ^^. I know it s off proportion, i keep working on hiding the details ^^
Mr link: srry no plans for color, was just a sketch for the Ga creature mashup mini, i only had 1 day to work on it so thats its final form for now.
Ravenslayer: again love the loose quality of your sketches, very fun pieces with lots of personality.
skurcey: interesting model, maybe get a darker material for the head, its tough to see detail atm. also http://www.sixside.com/img/muscle.jpg ref is key for realistic anything. exp for muscles.
the Pawn for the GA challenge, im going fantasy woodland creatures.
any crits on the fur would be much appriciated, im still not 100% on it as it is now
Woogity: Great model/concept, however I am not sure those strands of hard off of his legs are working for me, they are too round, and I am not too sure you even need them to stick off, I think it'd look fine without them.

Trying to get a shape language going to base my chess set off for the ga chess set stuff.
I dont want to go the generic route of taking an existing theme and running with it, so im going to go alot more abstract .
